Beinash Batool, accused killer of schoolgirl Sara Sharif was ‘thrown out of the house when she complained about being abused by her uncle’

Was this reported to the police (her complaint)? Was this investigated prior to her family throwing her out of the family?!? Or was this hushed and kept within the family and community? Was this a false accusation?

She was exposed to someone like Urfan because of this...
She also is culpable of the murder.... but there is a series of events leading to this...
Just my thoughts

Takie mi się nasunęły pytania i uwagi:
1. Czy Sara nie chorowała na Anaglezję, albo nie miała niższego poziomu odczuwania bólu? Chyba, że dostawała olbrzymie ilości środków przeciwbólowych kiedy jeszcze chodziła do szkoły...
2. US traktował swoją wiarę wybiórczo.
Number 3, US gained custody of the children because of the allegations made against Olga by Sara. Whether they were true or not, remains to be seen.

Thank you very much for that really appreciate it . I would visually recognise certain Polish words but not know the meaning
Google Translate is amazingly improved.

But even as Sara lay collapsed and dying in Batool’s lap last August 8, he continued the years-long campaign of abuse, jurors were told.

…….

That day, Sharif admitted he armed himself with a pole after being called home by Batool.

Defence barrister Caroline Carberry KC, for Batool, said: “When you went into the room it was clear Sara needed medical help.

“You said to Beinash that Sara was just pretending that she was just acting up.

“And you took the metal pole that you had taken upstairs and you gave her a couple of whacks with it on her abdomen, while she was lying there very unwell.”

Sharif agreed and wept in the witness box.
Oh my God.. This is horrific.

Just when you think it couldn’t possibly get any worse…

What that poor little girl went through is just unimaginable. I am horrified by this whole case.

Well,
Didn't he previously accuse B that it was SHE who said Sara was pretending/dramatizing?

Go figure...

Isn't it strange that U can cry as if on cue?

JMO
And here's another bit he had transferred to Beinash, from the updated BBC report:

'Ms Carberry KC continued: “Beinash said we need an ambulance…you refused to allow Beinash to call an ambulance, didn’t you?”

“Yes ma’am,” Mr Sharif replied.'

What the actual... he is lying about lying about lying? What?

I would give a lot to hear what his defence team said to him between his admission that he beat his little girl to death an his return to protestations of innocence a few hours later.

I suspect they are going to try another line of defense - that Urfan himself has a brain trauma or some other condition, take the medical route out. It should fail, because: 1) if it was inflicted in childhood, why the heck he left his kids in Pakistan with the family? 2) if there were signs in the UK, he had all chances to ask for help, was even referred to anger management classes but didn’t go.

It looks this way, though. He is already trying to feign some brain damage, methinks. Beinash lawyer is pretty good, so his way out is to play a dumb man who was manipulated by his wife.

I do not know why Beinash did not phone for an ambulance earlier. Why wait until Urfan returned? .

Well all this horrific account makes it even more damning of Batool as a co-defendant because she failed to call an ambulance for a seriously ill and injured child, she watched him beat a dying child with a pole and called neither ambulance nor police, and then called a travel agent and arrange for the escape of the man she had seen beat a child to death.

Allowing the death of a child - and probably perverting the course of justice, too.

You can't just plead insanity in the middle of a trial as a way out, though. He's already tried the line that he was manipulated by his wife and that's been comprehensively disproved, hasn't it?

Why wait? Because every adult in that house was responsible, even if they as an individual never laid a finger on her, and they had to plan what they would do next.

She couldn't ring police or an ambulance and claim an innocent accident - Sara's body was a roadmap of abuse, and she knew it. There was no disguising it. Their only options were to hide or dispose of her, or to run. They chose the latter.

The jury heard a statement from a social worker, James Lewis, who described Sharif’s supervised interactions with his children with Olga Sharif (his former wife) at the Shaw Centre in Woking between 2014 and 2015.

This included accounts from the children of Sharif waving a knife, encouraging one of his children to kick over Lego
and one of the children saying that Sharif hit Olga.

Sharif denied all of this and stated Olga was abusive towards the children.

In 2015, Olga told the social worker that Sharif assaulted her, which he also denied.

Sharif was asked about a parenting course he was directed to attend by social services.
It was put to him that he attended four out of ten sessions, which Sharif disputed.

I do agree that none of them would have wanted to involve any outside agencies.
Urfan is again lying saying Beinash wanted to call an ambulance.

All B's barrister can do is portray B as a frightened and abused co victim, try to avoid a murder conviction, mitigate the sentence for causing or allowing the death (which I cannot see, I just cannot see, how any defendant could avoid. Even if they couldn't be sure all three were guilty of murder I do not understand how any could be not guilty of causing or allowing Sara's death).

Something has shifted so significantly. Yesterday he held to innocent father who had tried to help her and today he admits he beat her, battered her, beat her as she lay dying, refused B's pleas to call an ambulance. What happened to provoke this? Is he finally just cracking under pressure?

Are the two brothers staying in the same prison at the moment? I'm wondering about their opportunities for conversing during Urfan's evidence.

During a supervised visit?
I thought a supervised visit was a supervised visit.

Why are ‘children’s accounts’ recorded? If the visits were supervised would these not have been observations? Or was US visiting at other times than the supervised meetings?

I was wondering exactly the same thing. I did think they were in the same prison . Would they share transport to and from court?

Both in Belmarsh. I think someone has said they won't be able to converse.

They'll share the same transport then. They are divided up into separate compartments inside the van but they can communicate by shouting to each other inside the van. The van has a recording device too.

No link - this is from my experience as a juror at the Old Bailey, and hearing van recordings.

It would be criminal to let them communicate.
