Actually maybe that would be the best thing for him to do. Its funny because she doesnt want the Police to look at him and yet somehow...she makes them both look more and more suspicious every time she speaks.

"Protective Order against Shawn Adkins" OH PLEASE! This is BS for several reasons.
There are women who actually need them and are granted them.

BD has a TRO, Temporary Restraining Order, at the court date that is set IF it has been set, she will go in front of the judge and so will SA, if he shows up. If both are there, she will present her reasons for wanting it and he will counter with whatever he has. Then, if the judge grants it, she will get an RO or OP, Restraining Order or an Order of Protection. At that point the person being kept away, in this case SA, has to be served with the protection order and then it is noted that service was done by a notice sent from serving agency to local agency where person requesting the order lives. THEN you have a Protection Order.

One thing to remember, they are just a piece of paper, that's all. The judge granted me a FIVE year Order of Protection but as soon as he was out of jail he was in front of my house at 3am. I had moved off the rez and almost 200 miles away and still he showed up. The piece of paper didn't help.

In this case, she can violate the order by having contact with him, as well as him having contact with her.

There are so many women, children and [yes] men in need of one. Hope this isn't crying wolf. IMHO

If LE wanted her to have this order remember there were investigators from the DA office on this call to her home, they could have called the Justice of the Peace, (magistrate) for a temporary emergency order I think.

I'm thinking LE is playing with her to be honest.

I believe she could be arrested for violating the restraining order, as well, imo

Why in the world would she even think about lying to LE about him being at her house??? If they are both so innocent, why should it matter to her that he is there?
