KC is not going to plea. Not unless someone whacked her in the head and knocked the wires back together.

I didn't see her crying, but with her, it's difficult to tell if she's really crying or giving us a show.

I did think she looked mighty unhappy with they returned to court and the judge called a recess until tomorrow after asking if Mason spoke to his client.

I missed a great deal this morning, and each time I came back to see what was happening, they were having a sidebar or the court logo was on screen. The dismissal of the afternoon session made it easier for me to go to my appointment.

As for what's up, I can't imagine the overly arrogant ICA taking a plea deal of LWOP. I do wish her attorneys would stress the evidence is against her, there's so much of it. But what do I know? I was a bit surprised when she pleaded guilty to the check charges even with all the video evidence and her name on the checks. I'm thinking her attorney knew her sentenced in that case would be light and time served.

I don't know what's up and I'm tired of guessing.

Kathi B. Said she WAS crying. That settled that for me.
Why do I enjoy the thought of her crying?:waitasec:

We don't know how many times she's come unglued during the last 3 years. I can imagine that coming unglued over and over and over again will eventually lead to numbness. I only say this because I've become quite numb regarding quite a few areas in my life. Her coming unglued in court every time the DP is mentioned isn't going to make a difference at all.

At first thought, I was thinking is WAS because of number of PJ's saying they think she is guilty; therefore, she may want to plea rather than risk the DT.

But, on second thought, ICA seems delusional and thinks she is a "paralegal" or part of the DT; therefore, she wouldn't think about a plea.

After all, she has probably always got her way with her LOOKS alone, so she probably thinks she could be aquitted if she flirts enough. JMO

I have to say, I was shocked when I checked the news today. And you can bet, if the DT is just doing this as a distraction, HHBP is not going to be too happy during the rest of the trial. He did say these PJ's are "human beings".

I did not see KC crying, she was happy and calm, playing with DS while CM was cleaning up. Just ran her fingers across the tips of her eyelashes that I could see. But then, I do need glasses.

I voted none of the above. I think the DT wants to scrap this whole jury. I think the judge is giving them the night to think about it. Tomorrow they will dismiss this jury and head off to another county to start this whole thing all over again. JB left early just to create some drama.

ot. I'm sorry you and your family lost your stepson, I hope peace, now surounds you. It's interesting at what point the DTs throw in pleas. So if they agree on a plea deal, they would still seat a jury?...

Thanks. It was my nephew that was murdered by his stepson.

I would think that if there is plea deal, either now or eventually, there would still be a jury seated to decide the penalty. There would still be witnesses presented for the state and the defense. The jury would decide on the length of KC's sentence.

Personally I keep waiting for Casey to enter the court room and shout, "I'm ready for my close up Mr. De Mille." and come at the camera with her claw like hands, gigantic teeth bared in a grimace that she thinks is a smile, and her mad eyes practically popping out of her skull ala Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard.

Casey is the star (the star!) of this show and she loves it. She may have her moments where reality leaks through to her but they are few and brief IMHO.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh: Exactly.. she doesn't really live in the land of reality.

I just know what KB reported from inside the court room, but her nose was red and she appeared to have been crying. Who knows with that gal.

Wait, so JB asked for court to be delayed today until 1 pm and it was denied so all of a sudden he leaves court at lunch and he's sick? Not buying it.

Was this this the "bombshell" for the day? I'm glad I went to the show to see the "Bridesmaids" instead.

Having watched all the footage available, I do think it is interesting that the judge held his hand up to Cheney. Body language that tells me either the judge was saying "I don't want to hear any more" or "don't reveal any more". Judge was either very angry or very serious. LDB looked at ICA leaving. Then the defense team left very very quickly, while the prosecution lingered. Then Cheney was very, very circumspect and said/revealed NOTHING, including whether the judge had ordered them to say nothing or not. Casey did swipe at her eyes, but to me looked like maybe she had been, but wasn't currently, crying.
WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS MEAN??? I SIMPLY CANNOT WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW!

I watched the short (3+ min) court video of the convening and recessing after their lunch break. The only attorney who came into court and immediately began packing up to leave was CM. I don't know if that means that all the others had no pre-knowledge, if they were just playing it cool or if they're procrastinators. But we can be sure that Casey and CM were prepared. Does this give more weight to the speculation that our lip readers caught something significant between the two? http://www.wftv.com/video/27939403/index.html

I dunno :dunno: but I guess it could.

I respectfully disagree.ICA is not numb,she is cold,IMO.
Presumably she killed Caylee on June 16th ,(maybe 15th cuz GA has been known to lie). That evening she is seen ,on video, strolling through BB with TL,giggling and picking out horrific movies (IMO) That's COLD

So let's see when she fell apart for real.
When she was caught by YM lying about her office and job at Universal? NO

When she was arrested after being caught in that lie? NO

When she talked to her family from jail on the phone and her friend ,Christine ,fell apart at the thought of something happening to Caylee? NO

When she hears PJs say they think she is guilty? NO

When graphic discussion in court, of evidence discussing her precious childs decompositional fluids? Bones, hair? NO

Let's see,
When the body is found and she's screwed? Yes

When the Judge reads the allegations calling her a murderer, thwarting her image with those cute male jurors? Yes

I hadn't noticed how true that is until today. She was standing up holding some folder talking to the attorneys as if she had the slightest clue about what was going on - she really has the mimicking down pat. She really makes it look like she knows what she's doing, which is both funny and pathetic. It's no wonder she was such a chameleon.

(Bolding by smart blonde)

I caught the judges hand motion to Cheney, as well.

I took it to mean "don't reveal any more", which is interesting because the gesture was in direct contradiction to the words the judge was speaking at the time, which were: "Do you have anything to add"?
