I didn't see her crying, but with her, it's difficult to tell if she's really crying or giving us a show.
I did think she looked mighty unhappy with they returned to court and the judge called a recess until tomorrow after asking if Mason spoke to his client.
I missed a great deal this morning, and each time I came back to see what was happening, they were having a sidebar or the court logo was on screen. The dismissal of the afternoon session made it easier for me to go to my appointment.
As for what's up, I can't imagine the overly arrogant ICA taking a plea deal of LWOP. I do wish her attorneys would stress the evidence is against her, there's so much of it. But what do I know? I was a bit surprised when she pleaded guilty to the check charges even with all the video evidence and her name on the checks. I'm thinking her attorney knew her sentenced in that case would be light and time served.
I don't know what's up and I'm tired of guessing.
I think if JB is taking this case to a different region of FL, he's making a big mistake, just like he did changing judges.
We don't know how many times she's come unglued during the last 3 years. I can imagine that coming unglued over and over and over again will eventually lead to numbness. I only say this because I've become quite numb regarding quite a few areas in my life. Her coming unglued in court every time the DP is mentioned isn't going to make a difference at all.
He's already gone.To rhornsby-
Not to put you too much on the spot, but what was your take on today's early dismissal?
(Thanks in advance)!
ot. I'm sorry you and your family lost your stepson, I hope peace, now surounds you. It's interesting at what point the DTs throw in pleas. So if they agree on a plea deal, they would still seat a jury?...
He's already gone.
If only I had typed faster. :aktion1:
Personally I keep waiting for Casey to enter the court room and shout, "I'm ready for my close up Mr. De Mille." and come at the camera with her claw like hands, gigantic teeth bared in a grimace that she thinks is a smile, and her mad eyes practically popping out of her skull ala Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard.
Casey is the star (the star!) of this show and she loves it. She may have her moments where reality leaks through to her but they are few and brief IMHO.
I did not see KC crying, she was happy and calm, playing with DS while CM was cleaning up. Just ran her fingers across the tips of her eyelashes that I could see. But then, I do need glasses.
I just know what KB reported from inside the court room, but her nose was red and she appeared to have been crying. Who knows with that gal.

At first thought, I was thinking is WAS because of number of PJ's saying they think she is guilty; therefore, she may want to plea rather than risk the DT.
But, on second thought, ICA seems delusional and thinks she is a "paralegal" or part of the DT; therefore, she wouldn't think about a plea.
After all, she has probably always got her way with her LOOKS alone, so she probably thinks she could be aquitted if she flirts enough. JMO
I have to say, I was shocked when I checked the news today. And you can bet, if the DT is just doing this as a distraction, HHBP is not going to be too happy during the rest of the trial. He did say these PJ's are "human beings".
(Bolding by smart blonde)Having watched all the footage available, I do think it is interesting that the judge held his hand up to Cheney. Body language that tells me either the judge was saying "I don't want to hear any more" or "don't reveal any more". Judge was either very angry or very serious. LDB looked at ICA leaving. Then the defense team left very very quickly, while the prosecution lingered. Then Cheney was very, very circumspect and said/revealed NOTHING, including whether the judge had ordered them to say nothing or not. Casey did swipe at her eyes, but to me looked like maybe she had been, but wasn't currently, crying.
WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS MEAN??? I SIMPLY CANNOT WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW!
Am I the only one who didn't see her crying?
