Is it possible no one has ran this dna yet?

It would lead to an ID not just if the mother is arrested (and has to provide a DNA sample), but also if the mother has other offspring (male or female), brothers or sisters, or aunts or uncles on her mother's side of the family.

In fact, anyone connected to the mother in her family tree by a continuous chain of female relatives would trigger a CODIS hit (e.g., If the mother's-mother's-mother had a sister, who had a daughter, and that daughter had a child (male or female) who was arrested and had to provide a DNA sample, it would trigger a CODIS hit!!)

Are you confused yet? :) You will be tested on this next Wednesday!!! :)
Wow
That's Amazing information TY

UNIDENTIFIED REMAINS
On June 05, 2008 a blue duffle bag and multi-colored afghan were found by a citizen along the roadside of a rural road in northern Sauk County near the Wisconsin Dells area. The duffle bag was found to contain bones that were identified as human remains. The remains are believed to be from an infant that would have been at the age of birth, give or take a few weeks. At this time the sex, race and viability of the child have not been determined by the remains.
The duffle bag is a blue sports style bag with the markings of
“InGear Expedition International.EXP” on the front of it and a logo on one side. It has several pockets. It is approximately 2ft x 1ft x 1ft in size. The afghan was inside the duffle bag and appears to be hand made. It has three main colors to it; White, Blue and Lavender. It is approximately 6ft x 4ft in size.

While searching for updates in this case I found this in the 2022 Sauk County Sheriff’s Office Annual Report:

08-07117 – Death Investigation – Town of Delton: (cold case – unidentified remains): Continued investigation into the 2008 discovery of infant remains found near Bunker Road. Investigators worked with a forensic genealogy company to successfully identify the infant and their parents. In consultation with the Sauk County District Attorney, it was determined that criminal charges, while appropriate, are not possible in this case due to the statute of limitations on prosecutions

08-07117 was the case number for UP11611. Unfortunately no justice for this precious baby. 😡
