This trial was the most exhausting and difficult trial I've ever watched.
Same here. It was definitely an education into our justice system.

Definitely the most draining trial I’ve watched! And the most enraging. Of course no one forced me to watch. But I’m glad it’s over for the families and the larger Waukesha community. I guess we’ll all be together again for sentencing. And then we’ll never hear from the convicted mass murderer ever again I’m certain. Good riddance! I wonder if his mother will finally show her face at sentencing and speak on behalf of her son. If she does, I guess we can expect the same excuses she’s been making for him. Smh.

I watched the press conference, and noted the DA's response when questioned how they all got through the exhaustive DB nonsense. They had to seriously change methods, when DB became his own attorney. They had to anticipate his moves/objections, and be prepared to assist him, (without making it all known to him) such as the last ' push' to have him give his closing argument. They were playing Chess in 3D, while DB was still stuck in Chutes and Ladders world. A monumental feat!

I think if we hear from Mom it would be a zoom set up. I have a suspicion that even Dawn Woods is relieved that her son is off the street. We got a full dose of him for a few weeks...she has been listening to him for 40 years and I bet had a bit of abuse of her own from him. She can now sleep at night knowing he will not show up ever again. I really doubt she is unhappy about the result.

Besides the twelve (15) jurors today, who thankfully found Brooks guilty on all charges, there was another unknown man who became a hero, IMO.

I will never forget that night of Nov 21, 2021. I sat here and watched in horror the initial and many live tweets and coverage of the complete madness that was set upon Waukesha. The entire country had been recovering from Covid, with all it's restrictions and isolation being lifted. We The People were ready for celebrating life, with all it's traditions again! And this vile monster got angry...again....and mowed over how many victims, killing 6.

The words this man said today were on the lips of We The People. He is a Hero, IMO

As someone on TV mentioned, the court reporter is another hero. It was probably the most difficult case of their career with the constant cross-talk.

Judge said she was notified at 9:43 AM Central time that jury had reached verdicts. Jury started deliberations at 6:43 PM Tuesday morning.

Tuesday PM
...I too had heard 2hrs 40mins announcing the verdict at 943am after convening at about 915am I'm thinking the deal was sealed last night. Good for them not letting any of his BS stump them.
Shout out to Judge D.. I know his voice will be living rent free in her head for a time to come. Hope she takes care of herself.

When will sentencing be ?
Sentencing date has not been made official yet. The parties are to return to court on Monday the 31st to discuss potential dates and finalize appearances. Many will be making victim impact statements

When will sentencing be ?
They are meeting Monday, Oct. 31 to discuss sentencing and how many people will be speaking. The judge said she needed to check her calendar once they’ve figured out how many people will speak and how long it will take.

Just for the record: I think DB has heard of Redit even though he stated last night he had not. He has said in court he is aware of all the bashing of him on social media. Not that it matters but just saying.

I believe the judge previously stated her calendar was pretty full for the next two weeks (when there was talk within the past few days of the length of the trial). I hope she can squeeze it in, but we may have to wait.

Such a meme-able expression, and he held it without fail no matter all the buffoonery going on two feet from him.

I saw a "video" of this Bailiff, obviously taped during the live trial, and the poster of this video was 'filling in' the brain thoughts of said Bailiff. It was a running commentary ( comedic) such as... " Just one little buzz" "What could be the maximum charge for me just once pressing the button? How many more months until retirement? Could I swing it without my pension? Would it be worth it though?"....and on and on it went. LOL

Big Hugs for the Bailff!!!
