    GUILTY Australia - Andrew, 45, Rose, 44, & Chantelle Rowe, 16, slain, Kapunda, 8 Nov 2010 #3

Because they obviously had enough evidence to arrest him in the first place. And they need to suss the alibi out thoroughly before they simply just release him. And i guess since they haven't released him, the evidence far outweighed his alibi claims?

Whether he raped her before or after she was dead, is still so so wrong and disgusting. I think they should charge him with whatever carries the most jail time! Yeah, I think he attacked Chantelle...injururing her but not quite killing her. Went and killed the parents. Then went back and...

Sorry! I meant her brother. I just realised their initials were the same, woops, my bad.

I think so early into the investigation, they can't rule ANYTHING out. They have to look at all possibilities until they can slowly rule things out. Really, it only took a day for them to release to the media that it was definetly a murder. I remember thinking at the time that that was fast!

I actually feel quite sorry for this guy. He assumed it was a domestic issue and didn't want to get involved. I've done the same thing before. He said he had been having nightmares every night since and felt terrible about the whole thing. I mean, ultimately, it wasn't his fault that someone...

I don't think his mum knew. From what I gather, everyone has questioned from day dot. Especially Chantelle's social circle. She wouldn't have thought an different.

I'm thinking....his DNA results possibly took a couple of days before coming back. Which was probably when they arrested him, after the reults came back. Probably destroyed or hid his shoes somewhere. And probably didn't see the cuts/scratches on his arm until after he was arrested. I think...

When they say that social networking sites could affect the case, what I think they mean is that the jurors could be subject to these websites, and they would form an opinion on him before the trial, meaning he wouldn't get a fair trial. Not so much that they would use facebook as evidence. I...

Maybe they didn't want to scare him into running off or something? Didn't wanna make him think he was a suspect. Although if they already had his car and were searching it, he would know was a suspect. Does seem a really weird way of doing it though. Still really keen to see that article 'How...

Now that I think about it, he really didn't do alot to hide the fact that he was there. Left blood and possibly other DNA behind. Bloody footprints. Didn't try to clean anything up. Surely he didn't think he could get away with this.

If the crime scene was as horrific as we have been told, of course the families blood would have been all over him. Deffinetly would have been their blood on his shoes.

Did we ever hear anymore about the supposed blood stained towel the police apparantly found?

I did hear initially that he was refused bail. I'd imagine they would set the bail pretty high, considering the nature of the crime.

Abandoment and rejection issues stemming from the dad I'd say. His brother probably has the same sort of feelings....but obviously didn't take his anger out on murdering people (unless he helped). Yeah, I assumed he still had family in Scottland. One of his Uncles quoted as saying how...

Well his brother obviously knows how <modsnip> up he is. "Lol" at saying that he'd <modsnip> whoever it was he had a run in with up. Maybe the brother's 4WD? If not connected with the murder, I think he would have DEFF known about it.

Wow, creepy if it is him. But from reading his Bebo account, grammar and spelling wasn't his strong point! This person above looks a little more intelligent, do you think?

I believe the parents weren't there the night of the party, they were staying in Adelaide with friends for the night.

Possibly. Or perhaps he was invited...and after being out of social circles for awhile was excited about being there and was ignored by Chantelle, or turned down by Chantelle or pissed of with seeing her with her boyfriend. Does anyone actually know for sure whether he was at the party or not...

Which is why I think he probably made himself believe he didn't do it.
