Just thinking about what Alex could say on the stand since his “version” is already in evidence through police interviews. He’s going to have to admit he was at the kennels - but He’ll say he went back to the house right after that and never heard any shots. What else can he possibly say?
I can’t believe Alex will take the stand!! Maybe it will help him because he does have that folksy relatable manner when he talks. Hope to goodness Creighton is well prepared for this.
I can’t believe the defense is thinking of putting Alex on the stand. That will be a complete disaster for them. But at this point I guess what do they have to lose?
Well that was thoroughly unimpressive. Honestly I thought the defense witnesses were so weak, they made Alex look even more guilty by grasping at straws.
Or that morning. He didn’t go to work until after noon. I have speculated this is when he made his preparations. He might have even stashed the long blue raincoat down there that morning, and/or a change of clothes.
I think all three of them walked or rode to the kennels together at around...
Even Maggie’s sister, who was at least a bit of a sympathetic character, made me cringe when she spoke about how devastating the boat crash was for the Murdaugh family!
I really wonder what Alex’s lawyers are thinking. Did he lie to them like he lied to the cops and everyone else? Did they actually believe he was not guilty when they started this case? IMO they are not very fond of him.
At the beginning of this case, I had a real problem with motive. But as the prosecution has provided more and more evidence of AM,s guilt, I find myself less concerned about his motive. It’s enough to prove that he did it; no need to prove he’s the kind of guy who would do something like this.
Oh I forgot about the hose:
22. The hose was off the hook during Paul’s video of the dog. When police arrived, hose was hung up again. Random killer wouldn’t hang hose back up but Alex would out of habit (after washing up).
Long post ahead —> Here are all the factors that point overwhelmingly to Alex’s guilt:
1. At the murder scene 4 minutes before M & P we’re shot. He either shot them himself or he heard or saw them being shot because he couldn’t have walked back to the house before they were shot. Obviously he...
Inheritance is not community property, so whatever he inherited from his dad would have been all his. More than likely, though, the inheritance would have gone to Alex’s mother, and he would inherit when she died.
