Even if it was someone she knew, the perp selected that day and acted early in the morning. I also think she knew the person at some level.

Thanks! That's what i meant. That if the perp knew the workers wouldn't be there that day it would lessen the chance of him being seen.

He doesn't have to be a worker but may know their schedule.

Just wondering if Friday was specifically chosen. Could it be that Friday was his day off? Could it be that he knew the field workers (is that what they're called?) wouldn't be in the area that day? What made him choose that day?

I wonder if there's some significance to the perp choosing Friday to abduct her.

To me it looks like she could be wearing a t-shirt with a jacket/zippered hoodie over it.

I would think an LE officer who is trained in paying attention to details, would know a t-shirt from a sweatshirt. That switch is puzzling to me and a t-shirt would fit in the bag.

She seemed to have kept in touch with her friends in Fremont.

My 13 yr old told me last week that she doesn't want to do baton twirling or dance anymore after doing it since she was 3. My older daughter also quit everything at 14. Those things take up a lot of time and maybe she just wanted to hang with her friends.

She mentions Project X a lot so i looked to see if there was a movie called Stonehouse. There is. I don't think it's connected but the words describing the movie are kinda what happened to her. "Imagine moving to a new location; a nice house, small town, quiet evenings. Then... people begin...

Sorry but they weren't there and didn't see her wearing those clothes. Marlene didn't see her wearing those clothes. The FBI should be dealing with facts and i don't see how they can 100% say the clothes in the bag were the ones she last wore. JMO

It didn't just come from the media. Nancy Grace March 23 transcript JOSE CARDOZA, SPOKESMAN, SANTA CLARA SHERIFF`S OFFICE: But there was a bag, specifically a Juicy purse, a Juicy bag belonging to Sierra LaMar that was found Sunday about 1:00 PM. Members of the sheriff`s office search and...

There's no way the FBI can be sure those were the last clothes she wore. That photo was taken early enough for her to change from that shirt.

Hi! Welcome! That's an interesting theory. It does sound like it could have been placed there for someone to retrieve later but her books were also found there.

They're spending a lot of time interviewing her friends but i doubt her friends know anything.

It does seem like just the basics were in the bag and not things she would normally take. The bag does look like it was planted there. It could have been hidden under the junk in one of those buildings or disposed of elsewhere. It definitely sounds like someone who knows the area very well.
