But surely there is a fourth possibility...?
Namely that nothing happened to Amy on the ship. Rather, she was shown a 'special' route off the ship by one of the waiters or Alister Douglas - maybe a staff exit. She decided to go to Curacao ahead of everyone else and there, actually on...
Yes, that is exactly my thought too :) That Alister Douglas felt 'guilty' because maybe he showed Amy a way off the ship and THEN she disappeared while on Curacao.
It's possible that nothing untoward happened to Amy on the cruise ship.
How about this for a possible scenario:
She does indeed meet up with either Alister Douglas or another crew member for an early coffee. Wanting to impress her, and knowing she would like to either watch the ship docking OR...
Sighting on another ship??? Wow, that's a new one - anyone out there have any more info on this?
One aspect of this case which I always come back to is: HOW are some of the sightings we know about 'verified'???
The verified insider stated that the San Francisco sighting had been...
From what I understand, the answer to this is 'no'.
It seems to be a rumour that appears on one or two sites, namely that Amy has been contacted and has declined to be in contact with her family. However, there never seems to be a reliable source for these assertions.
Am totally bemused that the Bradleys cited 'wrongful death' in their suit against the cruise line.
Possibly it was simply a way of trying to get RC to be held accountable?
However, it does jar, given that there have been these apparent sightings of Amy through the years.
Re Alister...
Sorry to return to this but there does seem to be a whopping big discrepancy going on.
Brad has publicly stated that it was Alister Douglas aka 'Yellow' who mentioned being 'sorry about your sister' soon after Amy first went missing. This was apparently before anyone knew bar the family and the...
Is there any way to access the law suit material, the Bradleys V RC?
I would really like to know more about all these folk that supposedly saw Amy living freely, and not under duress....
One aspect that I've always found puzzling is the law suit; specifically, the cruise line's defence that numerous witnesses have seen Amy living freely.
Surely for a judge to dismiss the suit, the cruise line had to provide names and contact details for at least some of these 'witnesses'...
I asked the verified insider about this, earlier in the thread - she said this sighting was discounted. However, she suggested it might be discounted because the witness failed to notice that Amy had no shoes on. I don't see that as a 'reason' to discount - the abductor could easily have forced...
There are several reasons why Amy may have been a target:
1 - she was young, attractive and even more than that, may simply have had the misfortune to be someone's preferred physical 'type'.
2 - it may not have been a planned abduction, but a crime of opportunity. i.e. could someone have seen...
The 'cowboy boots' sighting was in Puerto Rico. My understanding is that the witness was *not* the taxi driver.
A taxi driver from Curacao did come forward claiming that Amy approached him asking for a phone, the morning that she went missing. I gather this sighting was not verified...
I also wondered about this. But I seem to recall reading in an article, or maybe it was on 'Vanished', that because the ship was docking, the family had agreed to have breakfast together or something...?
Of course, it's also possible that Ron Bradley grew uneasy so swiftly because on an...
This may refer to the 'sighting' I queried earlier in this thread (or maybe it was in the previous thread?). The Bradleys got a phone call from someone who stated they had seen Amy being bundled into a taxi cab when the cruise ship docked at San Juan, Puerto Rico - four days after she'd...
I appreciate that a verified insider stated that this sighting was 'legit'. However, without knowing how the sighting was actually 'verified', it doesn't make sense to me. Just my subjective, personal opinion :)
I agree that it's unlikely two similar looking women would have the same...
I agree. Even if her captors could easily get Amy into America, why on earth then parade her around in such a public, busy place???
It makes no sense whatsoever.
And although we have been told that the sighting was 'verified', what does this actually mean...?
Because let's face it...
That's a really interesting suggestion.
It makes a good deal of sense. It's quite possible that there was someone who was observing Amy the entire time, someone less obvious than Alister Douglas or any of the staff members who openly paid attention to Amy. I wonder if it could have been the...
Apologies if this has been covered but was any statement ever released by FBI and/or LE in general stating that the pics were definitely Amy?
I'm not sure that it can be stated with 100% confidence that the pictures are Amy Bradley - though I certainly agree it must be a strong possibility...
