Catching up. Not too much to add. One quick thing: I saw several posts about the ITNP or whatever the abbreviation or acronym was for AS personality, I wanted to share that I recognize those results as something I have seen before, it is actually a quiz that was going around facebook not too...

Slightly OT I know most parents are aware of this, and I am not trying to talk down to anyone, but I just want to remind parents, on the topic of Internet safety, that the hand held devices have changed the game. 5 years ago, my daughter had a laptop which was parentally controlled, limited...

OMG OMG OMG Wednesday is my husband's day off so I haven't been around .just got back from date night, and find this out! I know the community must be feeling so much relief. I have a lot of catching up to do, I am going to try to work and read. Just checking in, I'm here, mental hugs to...

It's 2:11 on the east coast, and I have 4 hours til breakfast cooking time, so goodnight everyone. Hoping I don't wake up to 8 new pages of :banghead: But we should all wake up fresh and sorted out and ready for news of progress!

One reason that what happens on the scanner thread stays on the scanner thread is because it can be misleading and confusing, it is raw conversation that is not always in context. This topic has been brought up here so much though, so a quick recap: someone may have seen a girl with a purple...

I don't think he had intimate knowledge of Jessica, her family, or her schedule any more than he had intimate knowledge of the Memorial weekend jogger. I think it was "wrong place at wrong time", victim of convenience, in both circumstances. JMO

Brown hair can be found on Caucasian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Asian, Native American, and African American people. One of the reports of K Lake said "Hispanic", (media), LE released that as "light skinned", so that's where the question came in. I think the easy answer is IGNORE RACE AND GO...

I am not an expert, I believe they can get a warrant for any "stored DNA" but my observation is they usually take the DNA from the crime scene and then match it to their suspect or person of interest from a sample once that person is asked for one or required to give one, or in some cases wait...

I'm a light skinned "Hispanic" with green eyes, where do I fit in? White guys can have brown blue green or hazel eyes Latino guys can have brown blue green or hazel eyes I don't mean to sound snarky, but are we really having this conversation?

Exactly. I am not picturing a hippy round shape at all, just sunglasses that have thin metal or plastic around the lenses.

Hello everyone. I make a habit of not joining threads until I'm caught up. How heartbreaking! The chance of teens finding an abandoned bike and taking it home sounds reasonable. Her body coincidentally being found in the recycling bin next door to their house kinda blows that theory IMO...

That video is scary (stranger danger above), I watched it w my girls last night. I know the public should have done something, and I know many times the victims don't have time to react, but I asked my girls what they thought that specific little girl in the mock abduction could have done...

Last thread, last page someone asked "why did they say light skinned instead of white?" IMO because white (even though it is a color) describes a RACE, while light skinned describes a SHADE OF SKIN. it casts a wider net. I am passing the torch about the skin color debate now. We could use...

I think we can share our opinions of theories without attacking the POSTER, and I agree that the cartel theory is way left field. If it is what some of us want to discuss, have at it. An organized cartel having a member hang out on jogging trails? Place a bookbag with clothes in a neighborhood...

Oh boy, flashback to the Isa Celis thread and the cartel talk. I'm sure you could find an "exception" case, but Mexican drug cartels are in the business of smuggling drugs and weapons in both directions across the northern and southern border of Mexico. They do horrible things, but the...

Just an honest question, because I don't know, but how many cases of females that are abducted and murdered by strangers are NOT sexually motivated? It seems to me that the overwhelming majority ARE sexually motivated, but I could be wrong.

My gut feeling is similar. A white or possibly Americanized Latino (meaning English speaking and not first generation), under 50, the type that once he is arrested some people, former neighbors and coworkers, maybe, will come forth and say "yeah, he did seem a little strange", but otherwise...

This topic often turns into a lengthy debate so just to summarize, many government agencies qualify race as Black White (Hispanic) White (non Hispanic) Asian or Pacific Islander Native or Indigenous North American This is because the original hispanic race refers to the Caucasian immigrants...
