    Deceased/Not Found UK - April Jones, 5, Machynlleth, Wales, 1 Oct 2012 #7 *M. Bridger guilty*

Hi all. I haven't been contributing for some time, but have been here reading and observing all through this. Neurotripsy, your contributions have been remarkable, thank you so much. Paddy, I remember you well. As always the voice of knowledge and experience. I hope I am wrong, but...

Bevan said his vehicle was being examined. A major part of the police inquiry has been identifying known sex offenders in the area and the 46 year old man was known to the police. This is quoted from one of the earliest police press conferences - not my words.

Thanks for that. These will be so useful, I was wishing there was something like this as a quick aide memoir. So many pieces of information to collate, and difficult to remember where one read/heard items especially as time goes on. :gthanks:

Would it be possible? What is the ground like there, easy to dig or rock? I only ask because where I live less than 12" (30 cm) is soil, then shale and slate, unless near streams, rivers etc. Have you heard whether they have been using IR equipment in their search, as this can show...

It's such a bad world out there, we should all be more aware. Thank you for this.

I expect this has already been brought up previously and of course we don't know who told this to the journalist, but it has bothered me as to why should they? Reported in The Telegraph on 3rd October - Mr Jones 43, and his wife 40, reported April missing immediately, and it emerged last...

Not sure it "followed" the children, but if it was involved it could have been cruising around looking. Should make a small correction to what I wrote - in one report the OAP said the car 'drove briskly to the town'. Poor chap, can imagine his anguish at not acting on what can now be...

The OAP was reported to have said - A car was cruising up and down the road, then it was parked by the garages where the children were playing. Then the children weren't there anymore and the car sped off. (would put in links if I knew how to !)

I think it's at the Police Conference on the 2nd day they (the police) said she disappeared "About 7 pm we are sure of this". They also said that April was last seen by her parents "earlier that evening", but do not give a specific time

I also read/heard somewhere else that at a police Press Conference held after MB was arrested Bevan was asked if MB has given the police any information that has helped with the search. Bevan says he is not in a position to answer that, he does not want to threaten the chance of finding...

Thank you for clarifying my post, well put, that is what I was trying to get across. :blushing:

I wonder when and where the words "she was put in a van, she was taken away - been told by April's little friend that she was snatched" originated ? Only seems odd that if they came from April's friend, why weren't April's parents (and police) informed straight away. If my child came...

A very interesting read indeed. Almost feel it should be handed out in schools to teachers etc. and certainly made available to all parents. Thanks.

I hadn't read this before. I find Hedges comments very interesting and informative - am I mistaken or do they answer quite a few of the questions we have raised here ? jmo

Maybe , but would Forensics take the risk of contaminating possible evidence by placing something from an external source on the car? If MB put it there did he do it that morning or was it on his car when others saw at the school, any ideas ?
