Snipped by me and BBM ~

Talk about delusions/illusions of grandeur - why are any of these inmates allowed to become part of this case? It's rediculous and I don't believe any of them.

Here a snitch, there a snitch, everywhere a snitch snitch.

because liars tell the new "truth"??????? :banghead:
can't believe how much time he is putting in this bs.....love to hear "life long criminal"---what was it 27 alias????:banghead: with all this guess he doesn't have time for depos....:loser:

bbm. LOL! Not only did Baez get caught with his "hand in the cookie jar" (Hornsby quote) but IMO he's also been caught with his pants down.

JMO

RainyGirl, I'm reading your post at 6:10am with my FIRST cup of coffee.

Thanks so much for that visual. Bwwaahhaaaa!

In an odd twist, prosecutors obtained a copy of Lunceford's recorded call from prison with Baez and they plan to release it as discovery evidence. In an effort to block that from happening, Baez filed a motion for protective order claiming he didn't know the inmate's call to him was recorded.

"I think it's going to be more embarassment for Jose Baez because I have a feeling he said some things to Robin Lunceford he probably regrets saying in a recorded conversation," Hornsby said.

In a 2005 Miami Herald article, Lunceford was called the most prolific informant in the the Miami-Dade jail. The article said Lunceford offered information against at least four murder defendants.

The above two links are about RL and her involvement, she is dubbed the most prolific informant in Miami-Dade...

2010.07.20 - Judge Perry's Order Directing State to File A Response & Submit Telephone Recording:

What I don't understand is how can HHJP issue the order when the state does not have the recording yet?

<snipped>

State corrections officials told News 13 the recording has not yet been turned over to the Orange County State Attorney's Office.

I like the Judge's Order.

"Perry ordered prosecutors to turn over the recording so he can listen to it. He also told them to respond to the issues Baez laid out in his motion in case Perry decides to have a hearing on the matter."

After having read Mr Hornsby blog I can't wait to read the State's response to this motion...

I get a feeling this is going to be fun :woohoo: for us and humiliating for Baez..

And worrisome for JB .... if Judge P finds any wrongdoing by the attorney in this matter, Judge P. will be obligated to file a FL Bar complaint ....

You got part of what I am posting, lol. I hope that HHJP seals this recording. And appropriate disciplinary actions are filed against both JB and RL. I can wait months to see the results and watch JB finally start to tow the legal ropes and behave as the majority of attorneys do.

JB is wiggling far too much for this NOT to have serious implications for him.

Can't wait to see what response LDB and JA have.

Can they start the response with "Oh, for pete's sake..." or "Oh, for the love of all that is holy...."?

What I don't understand is how can Judge Perry order the state to produce a recording they don't have yet?

I wondered that also.
Maybe SA Burdick got the tape by the time Judge P. wrote up his Order.
She did not have it at the Hearing last Thursday, but she may have obtained a copy of it later that day, or the next day or Monday?
Judge P's Order is dated May 20th - today.

As of yesterday, per Adam Longo and this article, the SAO did not have it yet.

State corrections officials told News 13 the recording has not yet been turned over to the Orange County State Attorney's Office.

Well, this is fun. :) My personal speculation is that the person JB least wanted to hear that tape was HHJP. Now JB loses even if he wins....

Remind me never to play chess with HHJP.

Wait. What? How could he not know the call was recorded? All calls are recorded. Isn't there a message that tells you it's a recorded line when you get a call from an inmate? He's not Lunceford's lawyer, so there wouldn't be attorney-client communications!

IMO he was hoping it was illegally NOT recorded--i.e., by the inmate circumventing the recording requirement. So he is requesting that the judge prevent disclosure of the call because, unbeknownst to him, the inmate was following the rules of the jail and making a normal, recorded phone call instead of an illegal, unrecorded phone call.

Gosh those silly inmates following the rules.

JB would have gotten away with it, if it hadn't been for that dog and those meddling kids.
