Thank God they have arrested the dad in Florida and have pretty good leads to believe the children are dead, sadly. And that murder charges will bw brought against him and the step mother. I really hope all parties involved in Louisville have some sort of charges as well considering the games they have played in attempting to cover up HER part of this.. As in her uncle going to the police, her mother filing a police report while allowing him to live there. God pray the babies bodies are now found quickly and justice is served.. Please see wave3.com for the news story.

okay confused again . i thought it was stepfater...where the uncle come in to play.:waitasec:

Even if its the outcome you have come to expect, its still heartbreaking to hear. It is also sad that every time a child goes missing we automatically think that a parent is probably the reason and we are usually right. What a sad world this has become when the two people who are supposed to protect that child and love it are now most likely to be responsible when their child turns up missing.

I work in Foster Care as a counselor.
I work with many of the 'birth families'. Alot of the 'abuse' cases come in because:
1) the parents are young, uneducated, and certainly not ready to be parents.
2) The parents have mental health issues that are extensive.
3) The parent is a 'baby daddy' or 'baby momma' who splits with the original partner and finds a new partner, someone who really doesn't have a connection to the children.

My dad died when I had turned 18. My siblings were younger. My mom took awhile before she dated and got involved with her boyfriend. He had no say in how she raised us, or anything of that nature. She felt that was HER job.

I treat my own step daughter with love and respect. I beleive she's a special person. I respect my husband's ex. They had tough times, and their split wasn't a great one, but years later things are mended.

I never had children because I felt I could not have provided them the emotional, psychological, finacial stability a child needed and deserves.

It burns me that many of these parents seem not to consider these things at all. They bring children into the world that they have no way of nurturing or providing for. They are unstable, and so there is no stability for the children which is sad. They 'hook up' and move in way to fast with another partner. They don't put their children first, their children are toys, it appears, to be paid attention to when they feel like it. They don't look to the quality of their new partner when they 'hook up', and don't consider how that person treats their child.

These two sweet looking little beings, Zahra, the two boys taken by selfish dad and gosh knows where....

people should have to get a license to have children.:furious:

Mobile Police Chief talks about the arrest of John DeBlase

SNIPPED>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

So, now begins the search for the children's bodies.
Chief Williams said, "Tomorrow (Saturday), and for the next few days, the investigators will put a team together. They will be out looking for the children, based on what they've been told."
And, based on what police were told, I asked Chief Williams if he believes he knows where the children's bodies are.
He said, "We are not sure exactly, but, he has given us an indication of where they may be, of where he remembers burying the children."
Chief Williams then narrowed it down further.
He said, "We believe, based on what he had said, (their bodies are) within a hundred miles of Mobile."
Detectives have determined that both John DeBlase, and the children's stepmother, Heather Keaton, are responsible for the deaths.

Mobile, Alabama police believe two missing children are dead

SNIPPED>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Moments after being charged with abuse of a corpse and child abuse, John Deblase, the 28-year-old father was hand-cuffed and escorted to a police car in Mobile, Alabama.

Deblase was asked if he killed his missing 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son; he told investigators no, he didn’t kill them.

No one has been charged with the children’s murder. Right now, police say they are not sure who killed them.

It all started back in July. John Deblase and his now ex-wife, Heather Leavell-Keaton, moved from a hotel in Mobile, Alabama to a house in South Louisville. Deblase’s father says that is also when 5-year-old Natalie and 3-year-old Jonathan Deblase disappeared

Missing Deblase children not found today; search for bodies will continue, police say

After searching today in an area just north of Vancleave, Miss., police this evening said they had no success so far

Detectives have determined that both John DeBlase and Heather Leavell-Keaton, the children's stepmother, are responsible for the children's deaths, officials said in a news release.

I am confused-does the father say he does not know exactly where the children are, or is it that he won't narrow it down for LE?

IDK, it's about an hour's drive from where they lived in Mobile. He might have been just looking for some place. Can't imagine he even went to the trouble of a burial, he doesn't appear to have been motivated to do much of anything in the past year.

Has anyone read if they're going to be searching tomorrow?

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — A father told investigators that his two young children missing since the summer are dead and buried, prompting corpse-abuse charges for the man and a search by cadaver dogs for the youngsters' bodies, police said.

The father, John DeBlase, and the children's stepmother have also been charged with child abuse.

So I did some search on map today.

I thought did he buried the bodies on his way to Milton Fl

per goggle maps going up I10

Mobile to Milton Fl-70.3 going E

Moblie to Moss Point MS -40 mile (media mention that they could be in MS)going W

Mobile to Hurley MS going up rt 614 is 30.1 mile (west)

Mobile to Picayune MS 114 miles this is near a wildlife park

Mobile to Pascagoula MS 38 miles

I did a couple MS because they mention they might be in MS

Mobile going to Satsuma Al (sorry) North 12 to 14 miles

still looking around

I live about 20 minutes North of Vancleave. Just North of Vancleave could be Broome Community, Vestry Community or maybe Wade if it were North East or even possibly George County, MS which is due North. Very sad, I hope they find the poor babies soon so they can receive a proper burial.

Oh I see now that it says a wooded area, most of Vancleave is wooded but just North of Vancleave lies the Pascagoula River State Wildlife Management Area which would probably be an ideal spot for something like that, it is heavily wooded.
