How many innocent people run and hide from camera's? I'm confident the next headline will be Husband Charged with Murder...

Food for Thought.....

Why isn't Sharon listed on the National Missing Persons Website for NSW?

Or has she already been located?

My feelings is that Sharon's body was thrown into a river somewhere on the way to Lawrence.
I doubt her body will be found now.

Thinking of Allison Baden-Clay.

Thanks, sleep. It's heartening to know that investigators are so committed to solving the mystery of Sharon's disappearance and further searches haven't been ruled out.

'That interest was buoyed by information from the public following a recent police appeal, which was sparked by an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers late last year.

"Our recent appeal led investigators to an area west of Lawrence that includes a dam, and detectives and police divers from marine area command assisted us in the search of that area," he said.

"The community continues to assist us in this investigation as they demand answers for the family on what happened to Sharon Edwards.'

Police may not be looking for Sharon's remains in the dam and its surrounds but other physical evidence, tgy. Even if Sharon's remains were disposed of in the river, it seems a great many people are still doggedly pursuing the investigation and willing to come forward with information; just as they did and continue to do for Allison. Here's hoping justice is served for both women very soon.

Looks like a tip did come in via Crimestoppers.

Police divers and a cadaver dog will be used in a renewed search for the remains of a missing school teacher on the New South Wales north coast today after a tip-off to investigators.

Detective Inspector Jameson said police had conducted previous minor searches, but following public information, officers had been led to a "significant parcel of land and a waterway" west of Lawrence.

"It is a new area, we're keeping the location a little bit quiet at the moment only on the basis that we've got a significant amount of police resources and it's quite remote," he said.

While The Daily Examiner was on scene, divers worked through the reeds and lilypads on the fringes of the dam while a cadaver dog rummaged its way along the water's edge.
In the distance operational support officers performed a line search of the bushland on foot.
It is understood a number of bodies of water in the region will be examined during the search, which could continue for days.

Police are confident they are searching in the right place and in a matter of time they will solve this case.

In the video...
John Edwards is living in the house in Lawrence and was speaking to neighbours when he saw the reporters arrive and sprinted back into his house.

It could have been that woman he was with who contacted Crime Stoppers.

In March, police said they had obtained mobile phone data that located Ms Edwards to the Lawrence area on the night of her disappearance.

They said they had not found any good reason for her to have been in Lawrence on that night, explaining that was one of the reasons her disappearance was being treated as a homicide investigation.

Mr Edwards lives in Lawrence and his house and nearby properties were searched as part of the initial investigation into Ms Edwards' disappearance.

I think it's outrageous that ACA pursued John to the point of him assuming a foetal position.

It sounds like the husband thought he had a very open, rather than a failed marriage. Self-deception, perhaps. But those frequent visits--every couple of days, the neighbours said?--were they a sign of a friendly relationship, or was he clinging, stalking?

Personally I haven't ruled out the boyfriend. Maybe he was the one who was jealous, not John. Suppose Sharon told him (boyfriend) it was time they parted amicably. After killing her he took her phone to Lawrence in order to point to the resented husband. (MOO) Police immediately declared him not involved, so presumably he has an alibi. There might be a bit of wriggle room in it nonetheless.
