Based on nothing but gut feeling, I am 100% behind little William's mum.
A few random thoughts of mine:
* We teach our kids about the dangers of where they live- William is from Sydney, the dangers he has been educated about at 3 are more likely city based dangers, rather than "dont go into the bush"
* A lot (but not all) of people lower their guard when out of the city- it seems safer in the country.
* When he was first noticed missing, his family likely did a cursory glance around the exterior of the property, before looking all over the house and yard. He may have only had 5 mins to disappear, but his family likely searched for at least 30 mins before calling police. A long time for a little one to run randomly, especially if he realised he was lost and panicked.
* The pics of William are beautiful. What a secure, happy, well adjusted looking child. A credit to his family. He looks well loved.
* I changed my name on facebook a few years ago. In my case, nothing to do with relationships- I went from my married name to my maiden name because I am a teacher and students were starting to find me. I just wanted a bit more separation between my work life and personal life.
* We have not seen William's parents in the media, but what is there to say? Eeva Dorendahl's mother never gave an interview, yet she had nothing to do with her daughters disappearance. By staying out of the media she kept the focus on her daughter, and not on her. Chloe's parents spoke to the media, and looked guilty fairly fast, even though they were not. Pretty quickly the parents and their friends were as big a story as Chloe.
Whatever has happened, I hope that Williams parents find out very soon, even if it is bad news. I cant imagine the nightmare they are living.
