Cross done. Pillay asked if she saw Smich with backpack. She says no. Few other quick questions. Smich lawyer has no questions for Sharlene.

He asks her about her descriptions of the two men, where they stood, their positions.

Jacques Gallant ‏@JacquesGallant 1m1 minute ago
Wayne says he heard Tim tell one of the men: "You didn't have to park up the road. You could have parked here."

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 17s17 seconds ago
Only the taller man talked, Wayne says. He says lighting was still good enough to see faces.

Um, DM fingerprints, DM/MS video evidence, witness testimony, photographs of truck at hangar, DNA evidence....doesn't sound like ambiguity to me.

We are all entitled to an opinion. I see quite a bit of ambiguity, what the Crown presents are all allegations. They may not be based on fact or may be speculative. We shall have to see. JMO All MOO.

Fraser says surveillance video outside MillardAir hangar in Waterloo shows #TimBosma's truck towing the cremator allegedly used on him.

I'm thinking we have two different video recordings ... one being the DVR DM gave to CN, showing "in the hangar"; then surveillance video "outside MillardAir hangar" (possibly being surveillance from other airport sources outside the hangar that DM would not have had access to).

I have a feeling that by the time this is all said and done, we are going to be shocked by how much video they have. On Saturday (2 days ago) my route to my parent's house took me down Trinity Rd past the Bosma house. I paid close attention to the businesses that are closer to the intersection with Wilson Street. I had noticed in one of the earlier threads that someone had posted a Google Street View photo of one of the businesses with discussion around if there was security cameras on it. I can tell you that at least 3 of those buildings have security cameras on them. I can't confirm if they were there at the time of Tim disappearing though or, if they were there, if they were recording. There is also a large house between Wilson St and the 403 that has a security gate, intercom and video camera. So between Tim's house and the highway towards Brantford, there is a potential of 4 video's. Once they hit Brantford that number goes up significantly.

Other guy he says made for an "interesting contrast." Was shorter, demeanour was much more reclusive. Peeled off to the side. No eye contact

I wonder if by asking if she saw Smich with a backpack on, he was hoping to establish that perhaps Smich is the one that had/brought the weapon.

I don't believe a backpack would be necessary to conceal a weapon. Guns are not that big. JMO

Besides, we have no idea where the mystery dropper offer(s) are at this point. All MOO

I actually think the backpack question is extremely interesting FWIW

Also the boarder claims MS hair is shorter than the taller guy, but he kept his hood up the whole time ???

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 29s29 seconds ago
That second guy wore a hooded sweater, kept his hands in pockets and hood up over face.

Not much emotion from #Millard or #Smich today. Millard no longer smirking. Resting cheek on hand, looking down. Smich watching witness.

DeBoer describes taller man in driver seat, #TimBosma in passenger seat, shorter man in rear seat as they drive away in TB's pickup truck.

Remembers a quick inspection and the guys hop into truck and drive off. Tall guy in drivers seat, Tim beside him. Hoodie guy in back.

"I felt like it was a weird situation to be in - just how quickly everything had happened," Wayne, the downstairs nieghbour said. Wayne then made a joke to try to diffuse the situation: "That was weird, that might be the last time we ever see him."

DeBoers describes taller man driving pickup awkwardly as they leave. Cut turn off of driveway as if he wasn't used to diving it.

DeBoer tried to cut the tension by joking "that was weird. That might be the last time we see (#TimBosma)." Didn't think it WOULD be.

It's unbelievable to think how normal it all was on their end. Sharlene making a comment that he better go on the test drive to make sure the truck came back and the tenant making a joke about "might be the last time we ever see him". How many times do we joke about things like that in unusual situations, never really thinking that this is going to be that one time where there is a remote possibility that something bad is going to happen.

So tragic.

Well we know he was used to driving large Dodge Ram pick ups, so why did he "cut the turn" off the driveway? And what does the tenant mean by that?

We're now finishing up for the day. The downstairs neighbour will continue tomorrow at 1 p.m. That's when the trial starts tomorrow because of a medical issue with the accused.
