I agree with this. I said this once before if every person is Casey's life decided to tell her that they know for a fact her story is bogus, would she then need to continue to lie?

I think as long as there are people supporting her story she will continue this charade and THAT IS WHERE I THINK HER PARENTS are casuing the most damage, they are delaying finding their granddaughter because they can't accept what my be the truth.

This doesn't always work. This guy I know CAUGHT HIS WIFE having sex with another guy, and to this day, she still denies she had an affair. She has also lied straight to my face on several occasions. Confronting her accomplishes nothing. She has a daughter, is 38, and lives off, I mean with, her parents. Her parents, and even her now ex-husband, live in hell, constantly letting her walk all over them, all to try to protect the daughter and give her as normal a life as possible. It's a pretty hopeless situation for them.

What exactly does a victim's advocate do? If that is what this person was.

I have worked as a victim's advocate on call since I retired from my "real" job. It's crisis intervention, resource offering (doubt if that's what is needed here) making sure that the victims rights are being kept. Escorting police when victims are being removed from the home, taking them to safe houses. In the worst case scene we have to tell families of the death of a family member.

I am a few pages behind, so this has probably already been commented on. The article states that 6 calls were made to Mom, six calls to Dad and two calls to unknown individuals. All unanswered. The calls take place between 3:00pm and 4:00pm and then start up again between 6:00pm and 7:30pm.

Personally, I think something happened the night of the 15th and GM kicked her (Casey's) butt out of the house...or in other words, made it very clear it was time for her to leave. I think the phone calls show Casey's anger...the repeated unanswered phone calls...parent's refusing to speak to her (if in fact these were the flurry of calls they are referring to). Then, IMO Casey wanted her parents to "pay" for what they'd done and she deliberately kept Caylee from them.

i think its something other than the receipts. CSI were there yesterday to get evidence, they've known about the receipts for a while. they could have been part of the search warrant and not needing Cindy to call them to come get them.

My mother in law is doing the same thing with her 40 year old son. He's always the victim.

I agree, I think it is also possible confronting Casey would cause her to shut down completely. I think the family is trying to keep the lines of communication open. At least, I did, but cancelling the visits seems strange.

If it was an accident or neglect Casey wouldn't want to report it because she'd be blamed and rightly so. Blamed not only by her parents, but everyone else. Casey as we've heard doesn't take blame well and flat out denies even when it's obvious she's done something.

We need to distinguish here between an "accident" and negligent homicide. If you're not watching you're child while they're in a pool, it's the latter.

Maybe... we are reading Cindy all wrong. I really dont believe that she knows that much or had a hand in this at all. I mean her 911 call shows that she was shocked at the smell of decomposition in the car.

George on the other hand, knows more then he is saying IMO. I think everytime we see Cindy grab Georges arm or knee and look at him stranglely it is out of suprise at his revelations. She is thinking no george that's not right, thats not what you told me before.

Does anyone else see this?

I need to weigh in on Check Cashing businesses. My daughter's future in-laws own one of the largest chains of them. She worked for over two years for them. And I was in finance and banking for over 20 years. The majority of Check Cashing and Payday loan customers are obviously on the up and up or their business would not make money. However, each branch gets several fraudulent attempts a day. They are constantly calling LE for assistance. So yes, unsavory types do gravitate towards check cashing businesses. Much more so than the amount that gravitate towards a bank or credit union. They are also targeted for armed robberies more than a bank or credit union.

I'm not slamming people who use check cashing places. I've used them myself. But the fact is they do have alot of questionable people coming to and from them all day long. I would definitely lock my car doors at one of these locations.

I honestly think Cindy Anthony should be arrested for obstruction of justice. I don't understand it really, why this hasn't been done already. This women has put out so many inconsistancies, and now holding onto pertinent information. The FBI is handling this case, WHY HASN'T SHE BEEN ARESSTED????

I am not sure yet that I put a lot of stock in the detective going out today now that I am aware that Cindy called him. She thrives on keeping the drama going IMHO. I do think it's interesting that she did it while George was gone though. What was so important that she decided to do it immediately?

George was gone and she was able to get all the attention.

It is strange. I haven't seen video, audio or transcripts of any of the recent visits. We've just heard small snippets. Like George saying that Casey told him "she's close". But it's not like we are getting the entire story. Unless the media does have access to some of the visits but there wasn't anything "juicy" in it.

With all due respect, Cindy herself stated that she had been holding on to them, they didn't want them, and now she wasn't giving them to them anymore. She said that last week on a show. We all saw it. So yes, she was holding on to them.

Intrsting if it was receipts.....

Cindy made a comment in on of her video interviews outside her house when she was angry at LE & Media - her comment was to the effect of, Casey is trying to help no one is listening to her or me...I have receipts that show where Casey has been over the last month and LE does not want them so guess what guys I am not keeping them anymore for you, I have left all her stuff out in her (Casey's) room and no body even wants to look at.

I remember thinking "Wow, I don't think I would be threatening or making such negative comments to the media about LE"...just me though

But as long as her family continues to support her story she is geting the attention from her parents that she may have been denied before this happened. Caylee probably got most of the attention and you can see in her phone conversations from jail that she said all they where worried about was Caylee.
She maybe wallowing in all of this attentiveness from her parents and will not say anything as long as they are babying her and not being assertive and telling her that things do not add up and she must tell the truth.
