How do you receive a registered letter on a SUNDAY? There's no mail delivery. And didn't they have to go to the Post OFfice? Which would mean they received -- not a letter -- but a receipt/alert that told them there is a letter that was attempted for delivery and is now at the post office. And why DIDN't they pick up the car on Monday the 14th?

Casey waits 31 days to get cornered by Cindy and Cindy calls 911, Cindy waits 41 days more to call TES.

As a point of information TES searches have found evidence not just bodies. Sometimes even evidence that changes the direction or focus of a case to the eventual end. Also if TES does searches based on pings and finds nothing, I believe Baez can use this to his advantage. There is always two sides to the coin in every choice made in a missing persons case.

I, personally, don't know what to make of the affair allegation.
That KC said it lends it no credibility but her mother's denial doesn't hold any weight with me either. I don't think Cindy knew Amy very well and she may not have wanted to shared such a personal thing with her. I also don't think she'd want that bit of "dirty laundry" out there.

I imagine LE probably checked it out and if there is/was a mistress spoke with her.

I think the fact that George filed for a divorce might speak to that a bit altho we in all fairness do not know the circumstances behind it. However...there had to be some trouble in the marriage, imo.

I hope you're right, I hope she will confess, although Ted Bundy was offered a deal to confess and LE would take the death penalty away he refused and he was fried...Sociopaths don't like to admit there mistakes...moo

I don't see her confessing either. I think she'd rather kill herself than confess.

I am very afraid this may be the case with Caylee if she is found.

But you know, I just can't figure out why he lied about it. UNLESS he paid her for sex and that would be paying for illegal activity. Just a thought.

I think he lied just to distance himself from Casey once it came out that Caylee was missing. It's "basic LE 101", they take the computer of the "person of interest."

The cop was not just "Lying."
He had an intimate relationship with someone who has been charged with a felony. What if he had to go interview someone on the case? There's a huge conflict of interest in his seeing her and then he LIED about it. I think he's lucky to have gotten off with a simple firing.

The relationship was before all this happened. If he had just come clean he would have been fine.

I wondered about that too. Two things came to mind. They had been out of town and just got back to their mail and opened it on Sunday. IIRC this could be the reason for getting that letter. Maybe a neighbor picked up the mail and signed for it???

It's all about the publicity at this point for her. If she doesn't wear one, people would question why she isn't wearing one. If she does wear one, people are going to be mad at her for having the nerve to wear one (which she does, we all know that). I think she is choosing which one is going to make her look more sympathetic. It's all about creating a public image for her defense.

I agree. I for one do not feel sympathetic for her. I just hope Caylee is found soon.

Yep, everyone was quick to notice my mistake. LOL.
I was wrong, I should have explained that he was fired for lying.
Again, I think that's weird that he lied. Especially at a cop shop where men are pretty much, shall we say, known to like the ladies and know a lot of them. The only reason I can think of is that she is into "illegal" activities.
Just a hunch, plus the life experience of having been married at one time to LE. LOL

My mom did that too. I was 13, my brother was in a locked psych ward and had met a "friend" there who was being transfered to jail for a month but had nowhere to stay once he was out of jail. My mom let him move in with us and less than a year later she married him.. he was 20, she was 39. :bang:

My husband's 'step-dad' is 33, my husband is 32. Kind of weird, but I must say that he is a good guy and although my husband has made it very clear to him that he is in no way a father figure and he better not try and act like, they get along great.

I've been a good Tater today and have actually been working, vs. reading. One quick 'Please' request. Could someone give me a really quick synopsis of anything new in regards to TES? Any further word yet if LE will work with them?

This is so true. My sister's body was missing for 5 days. By the time they found it, there was no way to determine cause of death. They even had a confession, but then he started saying it was an accident. They had to prove it was premeditated.

That is one of my many concerns. If Caylee is no longer alive it is going to be very hard to prove much with all this time that has passed. Soooo sad.

Me too. The way the Anthony's are with getting their dates correct makes me wonder.

I know what you mean. I try not to put my personal bias on how people act, react, etc., but IMO this is crazy. It would seem by all the interviews I have now read Father's Day is the last time Cindy saw Caylee, and she TOOK HER TO VISIT HER OWN FATHER, wouldn't that stand out? I have noticed several people on these interviews do like I do, determine when something happened by an event that sticks in their mind, like a party, or someone's birthday, when they left a job, etc. It's like Cindy, especially, seemed totally clueless until shown the photo evidence from the nursing home. These cops are fighting an uphill battle all the way with these people who claim to only want Caylee back.
Switching to other point now before this gets moved to the ranting thread...
Is it just me, or has anyone else thought some of those pictures of Caylee shown in the discovery documents dated May 31st were the same as the Father's Day photos?

Well, I still don't get it. He gave up a very good career and as a trainee should have been smart enough to know cops would find out. All for a quick roll or two in the hay. He is an Iraq veteran. I am not surprised that he had sex with her. I guess just shocked that he thought he could get away with lying about it.

Could be but his training in Iraq, ect. should have taught him to tell the truth.

Remove Casey's statement from the 3 you listed.

George said he saw Casey at 12:50 PM on the 16th, but there was nothing about when Casey came home.

That has always been my question considering Casey slept by Tony, which means Caylee was with the GP's. Neither of the GP's elaborated about "we fixed Caylee breakfast, lunch, saw her go to the potty, read her a book etc., etc.

Thats been confusing to me too...OK we know Caylee was with Cindy June 15th fathers day at the nursing home video proof..and I am asuming that Casey was not with them at the nursing home ...Cindy states in the bond hearing that when she left for work the next day June 16th Casey door was closed and she assumed that Casey and Caylee were asleep in the room she didn't look in the room ...so then they woke up later that day and left is that when George saw them ?

Okay, I understand that the LP is now second guessing himself. Why in this world would he even have RD escort Casey anywhere?
I think its time for them to go home. Allow TP to decide wether its time to put her butt back in jail or not, and allow this crazy family to protect her.
There is no point in putting RD in the line of fire from reporters, Baez, Casey, or her warped family any longer.
