so the family leaves to go do an interview and the FBI Evidence team just happens to show up after they leave... seems like more than a coincidence to me!! JMO MOO

That's where my mind was going too. Earlier this year in January, Sherry Arnold was abducted and murdered in Montana while on her morning run. Turns out, the 2 murderers were oil pipe workers (or something similar) from Colorado. As well, I recall early on in her abduction that the townsfolk were upset because of the lack of housing and the squatting in Wal-Mart parking lots, etc. They suspected a traveling work person/s at the get-go.

Most of the oil fields are out on the plains or on the Western slope. There's some oil work further north near Erie and Firestone, but it's a good half-hour away. No one would go to the trouble of squatting in the Westminster area if they were working up there, especially when there's plenty of spots in Lafayette and Longmont (with Wal-Marts, Targets, etc) that are closer. There's a lot of traffic lights and traffic overall, whether one takes the straight path up Wadsworth/CO-121 or heads out to I-25 and then goes north. There is a tollroad, but getting to it still requires going through all the lights in Broomfield and then paying a $5 toll to get to I-25.

Regarding age of the Rock Creek subdivision: I checked and there are something like 2700 homes there. The homes in the area where the backpack was found were built in the late '90s and seem to be running in the $400-$500k. I think they've been building in that development pretty much continuously since Interlocken and then the mall was built. I remember being able to drive from Boulder to Denver in the early '90s and the area between Louisville/Superior and Broomfield was pretty much all fields.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 55-60 yoa, 185-200 lbs, short strawberry blonde hair or white hair, neatly trimmed strawberry blonde or white mustache or beard, and was wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans, tan baseball styled cap.

1. Jessica went missing between her house and the park (where she meets up with other children to walk to school with) around 8:30 am Friday.

2. Mom was napping and did not get the school message until 4:30 pm. School lets out around 3:30. What time would she normally make it home by?

-Possible that J. lets herself in after school, if Grandmother was running errands, didn’t notice her lateness, or assumed she had a playdate that wasn’t communicated. Also possible time frame- mom calls school around 4 when Jessica fails to return home, takes a few minutes to call around neighbors/friends before 9-1-1 activated

3. Her backpack and water bottle were found on a sidewalk in a neighborhood approx 6 miles from her home.

6. 2 other attempted lurking in Arvada:
Arvada Police are investigating the two attempted abductions. The first occurred last Sunday around 5:30 p.m., near 77th Drive and Terry Court. An 8-year-old boy was playing basketball in his driveway when he says he was approached by a man.

The second incident happened three days later Wednesday, again around 5:30 p.m. This time, the suspect went into the parking lot of Fitzmorris Elementary School in Arvada and approached a 9-year-old boy. He again offered the child candy if he would get into the suspect's car. This child also ran from the suspect.

---Personal observations---
KG and Jessica are similar ages and builds. This strikes me as a HUGE red flag. I honestly don’t want to know the answer to “what are the odds” but the reality is that the perp who was in Arvada was after boys- the perp in the KG case was going after a girl of similar age, height, and build to Jessica. Distance from Superior, Colorado (where backpack was found) to Cody WY and a map would be helpful?

Three blocks. LE says there is a witness, but nothing further. Could the witness be surveillance?
