I have a question about these 12 jurors. Are these people definitely on the jury or could they still get axed by one side or the other?

I've heard HHJP say he wants 20, but if he gets to 15, he may go with that. Does he need three more to swear in this panel or eight more, or does he need 40 total. (Start with 40, less 10 DT strikes, less 10 prosecution strikes = 20 final jurors).

I'm confused.

*With 3 alternates to go, and maybe more jurors even if any back strikes are used, I just cannot see the trial starting on time. Maybe Wednesday or Thursday it will finally get underway.

Opening statements appear to REALLY be coming on TUESDAY May 24th....

About 87 hours or so I do believe...


The trial is expected to take 6-8 weeks.

She will be on trial for the June 15/16 anniversary...


I really hate to hope for a longer trial....

But it would be AWESOME if Casey was convicted OR sentenced on August 9th.... for Caylee's 6th Birthday. :heartluv:
