Why would the bondsman go to his home between 11 and noon if Fd was supposed to be in Stamford at noon?

11 a.m. to noon: In the hour before the expected court hearing, officials become concerned that Dulos had not arrived in Stamford yet.
McGuigan said he and a private bondsman arrived at the Dulos home in Farmington to serve notice that they would be formally moving in court to pull the bond. McGuigan said he encountered a state of confusion.

Farmington police were on the scene, joined by emergency medical personnel.

Because they needed to serve (formal) notice to FD that they were applying to revoke the bond. As FD was not where they thought he would be, they had to go looking.

Seems to me that NP would have reviewed the bond package and caught the fact that one of the properties was in foreclosure. Conspiracy to commit fraud upon the bonding company? Fraud? They could be cell mates.
I'm not sure of the bond application process or whether NP or any lawyer would be involved.
Looking at this link, it looks like that whoever needs a bail bond needs to hire a bondsman. So, I think it would be the bondsman that would go through the process and not his legal team. The legal team would merely present to the court that a bail bond had been obtained which met the courts criteria.

I have not found anything convincing that would lead me to believe that they were an "item" or couple. While it seems plausible, I struggle that she would actually tie herself to his star. As a good friend, I could see that she might stay at the hospital with him until family arrived.

She did pay a lot of bail money to bail out a guy who looks pretty guilty. Lots of his other good friends ditched him before doing that. And to me, he never appeared to be somebody that you could count on to not jump bail, or do what he ultimately did. This is why I think she had a thing for him. He just doesn’t look like a good investment. This wasn’t logical; it was emotional. MOO

Agree. Easily manipulated, probably, too. MOO.
Could’ve been an old flame he knew he could rope back in, like he did with JD. Who knows.

Patients are also medicated with sedation to prevent them from fighting the ventilator. In time, as decisions are made, the medication is withdrawn gradually and brain scans are done to help determine the level of permanent brain damage.

Maybe he had invested funds with her - and I guess she is the mysterious "Greek benefactor."

Many hospitals, if not most, spend millions on uncompensated care each year, meaning they pick up the tab for patients with no insurance etc. I would think there would be massive lawsuits daily if any hospital or insurance company would effectively end a life by refusing further care. Just in my experience ...

That is why a tylenol from the hospital is so expensive. I think I was charged like $50 for 2 a few years ago.

I find it telling that Ms Curry wrote a check for over $140k while FD wrote a check for $1,000. IIRC reports say he borrowed more than $3 million, including funds from high interest payday loan company last April. Money was his everything.
FD similar to the movie character in “Pacific Heights”. A man from wealth, no longer able to access family money. Moved from one wealthy woman to the next, on the take, living a lifestyle he could not provide for himself. Willing to do anything to maintain it, even murder.
