Thankfully, its back .. thought I would have to drop by a friends house with my bison roast I had just put in the crockpot....

I was on a murder trial jury right after my son was born (14 years ago! Holy cow!) and I absolutely LOVED it. If there was such a job as a professional juror, that's what I would do. I keep wishing that I'd get another summons but it hasn't happened.

Same here...I was on a 1st degree murder trial back home in FL. It was intense (not remotely like this case...only took 1 business week for both phases). I was only 22 at the time and I was hooked!

I caught that too and it's highly disturbing. If she wishes she hadn't killed him, why would she want to see the evidence of what she did???

Because she need to comport the facts to the forensic evidence and she needed to see what lie to tell basded on what evidence they had their hands on

He sure is a reluctant witness.

I just don't get it. DB is testifying in a death penalty trial and getting answers out of him is like pulling teeth. Why?

Yes! lol. I will be flying through the entire morning session, then flying through the afternoon session, but I have a 1:40 ground break after the noon break. Praying someone has the morning sessions up by then.

my last call was last year....didn't get picked. Nothing major here either....bunch of DUI cases. I have a hard time with anything having to do with alcohol or intimate partner abuse. Also, one of my most fave movies ever is 12 Angry Men....that movie plus the Pinellas 12 have convinced me I don't ever want to do a jury. After watching this trial though...I am somewhat rethinking this. unfortunately not all trials are this cut and dry......so I don't know. Next time I get called I guess I will see what happens.

I would only want the murder trials because they fascinate me. A DUI case, not so much.

I felt a huge sense of responsibility and patriotism on that jury. It was a cool feeling.

I think she will come in "trying" to play the victim but once Juan gets on a roll she will lose it. JMO
