Personally, I have a great deal of sympathy for ALL parties involved.
Maybe another set of eyes looking at the investigation into
both deaths would help many heal.
I was pondering "why" (other than the time, expense, and duplicaton of effort) the attorney general is not acting and why the Zahau family wasn't contacting the U. S. Department of Justice.
One thing to consider is the political power in CA and D.C. is Democratic. Soooooo, I checked the political contribution of JS. Yep...over $70,000 since 2000.

There are no contributions listed from 2011 on. Is it possible that JS is conserving money, disenchanted with the current economic climate, miffed by the adverse ruling against his accounting firm, or contributing to super pacs.
Regardless, it does cause one to wonder if political influence has prevented these deaths from being evaluated at a "higher level."
Or, perhaps more realistically, everyone would just like this to all go away.
