I honestly don't get what Nurmi thinks this illustrates. If Travis was so horrible, Jodi managed to "escape" him, all the way to California. He never followed her or tried to stop her. Then she went back??? Come on.

Doesn't he understand that the jury will assume SOMETHING triggered this out burst? And that since Jodi is not a nice person, maybe this rage was justified??

And yes, Dr. Expert, very few volatile relationships end in murder. But let's try not to make it sound like Travis was the killer. These people. I fear for my blood pressure.

Fonseca is right, Travis is being a jerk in those chats. But that's not the point. The point is that being a jerk still doesn't give someone the right to plan and execute a murder, which is what this case is about. Arias could have chosen to stop all contact with him and never speak with him again. Instead she headed down a different path, one in which she decided to kill him. She had no right to do that, was found guilty of first degree murder, and she might earn a spot on death row for her choices. Travis being a jerk is not a mitigating factor. Her feelings were hurt, but her life was not in danger. That's the difference.

Out of all the things that CMJA did to Travis, before, that awful day...
What was the actual straw that broke Travis....
What was it that he truly despised her...

And for the record, today, I still don't know if they actually had sex that day. With her being a photographer and all, I am still not convinced they did.
