my NE GA channel 2 just said reports of 22 dead in Alabama.....

Hey DK have you heard anything about how many tornado's there have been this year so far? It seems to me to have been more than usual.

I was watching "Good Day Atlanta" this morning and they have to wait on the month's end to crunch the numbers, but Jeff Hill (the weather guy) said that this is definitely a record breaking month.

Oh my goodness I am praying so hard for all of you in the path of these ferocious tornadoes/storms.

Have they said anything about Paulding County in Georgia? Our daughter, son in law and two grandsons live there.

We are in SW Georgia and are expected to have high winds and possibly hail tonight and early in the morning.

I have never seen the south have so many storms/tornadoes this soon before.

As of April 26, there have been 846 tornadoes reported in the US in 2011 (of which at least 444 were confirmed). Due in large part to several extremely large tornado outbreaks in the middle and end of April, the year is currently on record pace.
