For those paying attention we realize by now, sprinkled within the web of lies there lays (lies?) some twisted truth.

I personally thought Jodi's redundant proclamation to Travis' enjoyment to Spiderman might've come from her ex (much older) boyfriend Daryl's son. I thought perhaps this little 10 year old boy was seen wearing such clothing and Jodi took that truth, twisted in the lie, then called it her own.

But now.....here is a photo of Travis wearing the exact underwear that Jodi is using against him. I hope Mr Martinez sees this as I have, and uses it somehow to remind the jury just how sick and dangerous Jodi Ann Arias is in this world.
I sincerely mean this when I say it: Death will be a step up in Jodis' spiritual evolution because her soul is stuck on scary here on Earth!

The facts that Ms Arias may have walked into a room and saw Travis looking at this picture and perhaps crying and then proceeding to make up a sick story that he was looking at a little boy in his underwear makes me SICK! I am amazed every day that things still surprise me....I guess this does not so much surprise me as make me realize more and more that the depravity of Ms. Arias' brain and soul is much worse than any of us may know.
I hope JM has this picture and I hope he can show it to the jury. I think the jury, like me, will feel like once again, they have been kicked in the gut if they see this picture!

Is there any documentation available to indicate that ALV interviewed Jodi? I've heard talking heads say more than once that ALV hasn't ever met with Jodi. If she did interview JA, how much time did the domestic violence specialist spend with Jodi? Did she provide a written report regarding her findings? It would seem to me that someone as experienced as ALV in this field should/would realize that Jodi was not a victim of domestic abuse. Based on her testimony yesterday, ALV isn't talking about Jodi: Everything that she has said thus far relates to Travis as the victim of Jodi's abuse.

Yes, think back to one of those 18 long days when the defendant was on the stand and Juan asked if she remembered telling ALV that Travis was looking at pictures on the computer.
Which the defendant denied telling ALV the photos were on the computer.

Good day, everyone.

The main thing that is bothering me about ALV's testimony is this: as a domestic violence expert, she is predisposed to believing someone when they say they've been abused. She would not be predisposed the other way. A professor of mine ran a battered women's shelter, and would often explain away bad behavior as "they were probably abused." If any of you have been following Dr. Drew Pinksy throughout his career, his default explanation for most addictive/violent behavior is sexual abuse. My point is, most psychologists have pet theories they fall back on more than others. Don't misunderstand-- there are a lot of people out there who have experienced legitimate abuse, but as a mental health worker you tend to be more empathetic and less critical of those you are trying to help.

If this woman was legit she would not be trying to sell Jodi as an abused victim. She would see it for what it is and when asked to testify, she'd respond by saying: no way!!!

A true advocate for abuse victims would be smart enough to know the games, hear the lies and see the manipulations being played.

She's a disservice to her vocation. And once again we see people motivated by greed not principle.

We know they met because of the questions by JM to JA about whether she told ALV that she saw Travis look at child *advertiser censored* on a computer. That's what ALV told JM.

I quit the smoking but have now picked up the eating...and have gained weight. I def need some help

My husband quit smoking then gained weight. I had been trying to lose weight for 5 yrs after my last kiddo but he would always bring home hot fries knowing they are my weakness. Finally now that he is on a diet too he realizes how hard it is when your weakness is right in front of you not to pig out. He is doing Atkins but I'm not knocking out as many carbs and foods as he is. Im a carb eater so before diet I would probably eat double the carbs of a normal person. Not a fan of meat but I eat enough of it so the kids can not pull the well mommy doesn't eat it card. I stopped the junk food eating and started eating fruits and veggies as my snack. So much easier now that he is dieting b/c now its a competition as to who will hit their target weight first. Even though I know I will probably lose since he has no issues having the weight fall off. While Im busting my butt exercising and knocking my carbs down to only 25-30g a day. Though now that Im complaining about losing it so slow I hope tomorrow is like all the other day after I complain moments and I drop a full lb.

I think she was referring to DB, as she said she lived with him and they had separate bedrooms. I hope he is part of rebuttal to testify of her non-breakdown.

Gee, I sure hope she had it saved to a flash drive or a cloud. I understand the concern of her notes getting "out there" but her file should be backed up elsewhere.

The picture that bothers me the most is why is Travis sitting on the shower floor? I can't believe that Travis would take showers sitting down. There is no ledge to sit on in his tiny shower stall. That one bugs me a lot. I am thinking like some of you as well: she had to have been in control of Travis via a weapon at that point. It doesn't make sense otherwise.

I agree. I have always thought that at this point, she had the gun aimed at him, and told him to sit down, to keep him under control. If someone started stabbing you in this position, how hard would it be to get up? But I also think that he knocked her down during this, but she was able to scoot away, because she was outside the shower, and he was injured. He had to be able to stand at some point, to get all that blood on the counter top. I can just picture her, with Travis standing at the sink, and her coming up behind him, and continuing to stab him in the back. However it all went down, she is one sick individual, and deserves the maximum penalty.

The talking heads have consistently reported that ALV has never spoken with JA.

I know of no evidence which indicates that the two have ever met.

My guess is that it would have been the MMPI-2, which I believe is the gold standard test in forensic psychology?

Newbie here. I've been lurking for awhile and joined recently. I'm glad you brought this up because someone on the IS FB page provided a link to the picture of Travis sitting in the shower and questioned the silver object in the bottom right hand of the photo. They wondered if it was the barrel of a 25. Has this been discussed previously? If so I apologize, but there's so much info on here I wouldn't know where to look. Here's a link to the picture.
