Bet you wouldn't be excused from jury duty for a migraine. I was a juror when a guy wasn't excused for being freaking blind.

Jodi has a migraine and feels like she's gonna throw up breaking news - straight from the fam- I called it
Oh FGS!
:furious: :furious:

I can't wait until this unusual person who resembles excrement gets sentenced.

@ebvogel @cdnbeachbum Samantha A. Don't know why. Maybe she saw JA's mother wearing DV ribbon. #JodiArias

It was reported earlier via a WS member than HLN said she went out crying when the trial before (murder via a screwdriver, iirc) was sentenced to LWOP.

F. I just put the tv on to see the TH on criticizing Juan for autographing. Really?
I see nothing wrong with that at all. What is he supposed to do...run through the crowd of his admirers , blowing them off....making them cry?

I shut that nonsense off right away....good golly I'm going out to get me some free vitamin D.

What a crock. Is there not some way to have a physician confirm whether or not these "migraines" are real or bogus malingering?

:furious: This family has been through enough. JA's supporters can pick a different color ribbon to support her. Like black. :twocents:

Seriously, no court? This is absurd. If I were on that jury I would be royally annoyed. Heck, I'm NOT on the jury and I'M royally annoyed. Oh well. I was wondering if anyone here could answer this question for me. I recently rewatched Jodi's testimony regarding the "broken finger" incident. Jodi clearly states that the fight started over the fact that Travis wanted to borrow $200 from Jodi and when Jodi said no that he called her selfish and that's when the alleged assault started. But if I recall correctly, wasn't it that same evening (January 22nd 2008) when Jodi sent Travis a text asking if he deposited money for her? I believe Jodi admitted on the stand that she had actually borrowed money from Travis that day. Was it ever brought out by Juan regarding this conflict in her stories? They can't both be true. If you ask me, this is a very important point and calls into question her entire story regarding the broken finger. I'm hoping that I just missed the testimony where he brought this point out.

Thanks!

I know that JM wants the jury to remember that JA had her fingers bandaged when she showed up in West Jordan.

Ryan Burns testified to that fact, and that she was wearing long sleeves in triple digit summer heat.

The jury needs to understand that JA did have hand and arm injuries after butchering Travis, including the finger wound.

As for the defendant's credibility -- there is none, when it comes to borrowing/lending money or anything else.

She has utterly and irredeemably de-edified herself.

I say give her a damn bucket for crying out loud.
How many times does the family drag their tired, head pounding bodies into court. Fight not to vomit while the bish smiles at them. How much is the Jury giving up to have to deal with these delays and cancellations.

I just don't care. Let her throw up all day long, right in court. I. Do. Not. Care.

I guess I would be a crappy judge.

JA has lost a lot of weight. I can't imagine she's eating properly. They need to force feed her.

Jurors escorted en masse to the elevators in frint of me- tomorrow half day still on

I think that the DT and the judge should have to forgo whatever money the Arizona taxpayer pockets have paid them and give it to the jury. For real!

#jodiarias HLN just reported Judge Stephens gave lwparole to a previous convict & Samantha TA sister left in tears.. Awww poor thing.

@bobcatrules #JodiArias Horrible that Travis family had to witness Judge Stephens letting person off makes them feel she sides with offender

You are so right.

Liars make the mistake of giving too much detail. They mistakenly think by doing so they are more credible, but the opposite is true.

People do not remember tiny meaningless details like that - those are the embellishments of someone spinning a tale and are usually a sure sign of deceit.

This is a very good book and was used in an Intel class I had :) Great great examples from real life situations that many of us know about (court cases, etc) and very easy and quick read! Talks about what you mentioned plus more! Great for everyday life, relationships, work, etc

Spy the Lie: Former CIA Officers Teach You How to Detect Deception
Three former CIA officers—among the world’s foremost authorities on recognizing deceptive behavior—share their proven techniques for uncovering a lie

Imagine how different your life would be if you could tell whether someone was lying or telling you the truth. Be it hiring a new employee, investing in a financial interest, speaking with your child about drugs, confronting your significant other about suspected infidelity, or even dating someone new, having the ability to unmask a lie can have far-reaching and even life-altering consequences.

As former CIA officers, Philip Houston, Michael Floyd, and Susan Carnicero are among the world’s best at recognizing deceptive behavior. Spy the Lie chronicles the captivating story of how they used a methodology Houston developed to detect deception in the counterterrorism and criminal investigation realms, and shows how these techniques can be applied in our daily lives.

Through fascinating anecdotes from their intelligence careers, the authors teach readers how to recognize deceptive behaviors, both verbal and nonverbal, that we all tend to display when we respond to questions untruthfully. For the first time, they share with the general public their methodology and their secrets to the art of asking questions that elicit the truth.

Spy the Lie is a game-changer. You may never read another book that has a more dramatic impact on your career, your relationships, or your future.

Gwen, I just rewatched the testimony between JM and JA where they are talking about that whole day she found Travis masterbating. Remember she told everyone that TA called her over and over after she ran out and threw up but she just couldn't talk. Than JM showed their texts and phone calls and it was just chit chat about trading cars etc BUT at the end Jodi asked Travis if he made the deposit! JM asked her if it was TA giving her money and she said she didn't remember who gave who the money. :great:
