AFAIK he was trying to prove that she rented the car from Redding not because of a Priceline deal (and she thus lied in saying that), because the Redding Car Rental was paid outright and not thru Priceline (as her airline tickets were).

This is pretty interesting. I was searching for Juan's final word today, and found this from Croakerqueen. It's from AFTER court, no jury. KN texting away, or checking what's trending. :floorlaugh: JA not happy at all, bailiff watching her very carefully. Nancy Grace sitting in one of the first two rows. But my fav, is seeing Mr. Martinez with huge smiles! :grin:

I find it comforting in a sense that the Alexanders weren't expecting a verdict on friday (Based on Tanisha Alexander's request for prayer and fasting on Sunday. I haven't fasted in the longest and my faith is shaky sometimes but I will for them.) But I need a verdict on monday. It's so clear to ME how premeditated this was, that I just can't fathom them needing too long to deliberate. (More than 10 minutes was already long enough for me, lol)

I don't understand why they didn't have a verdict today. I fully expected them to pick a foreman and take an initial vote. And I wish they had been ordered to continue deliberations in the am when everything is still fresh. Praying for the Alexander family!!!

I am stilll laughing. Did you guys catch this. I listened a couple of times to make sure I heard right. When JM got up again ( its in pt 4) he made reference to Nurmis haircut. It took Nurmi a couple seconds to have a physical reaction. He could not object. This happens less than a minute after he got up. He may have been gettng back at Nurmi for something. He did it in a skillful way.

Based on JSS's pleased reaction at seeing him sitting in the clerk's chair, I think he might be her friend/family member, maybe even her husband. I've seen him a number of times sitting off to the left in the courtroom, not seeming part of either side.

Did you see the build on him? He may be wearing a vest. I think hes there to protect the judge. He sat near her. He must be authorized.

Well this is it now let's see some swift justice. Jodi really is a very good actress as we all could see watching this trial. She should hve chose that as a profession.
There were a few times yesterday when I did get to watch it I wanted to, well, nevermind. I definately do not want any time outs at this point!

I read Katiecoolady's post. JM is confident that there will be a verdict on Monday as are Beth and KCL.
