are those the motions where they tell us we cant fry her cause she's 'a woman' and (my favorite) a grieving mother?

ITA, and I hope that horse turns Baez's face many colors when it kicks him! That's how I see him learning what that means.
Go on defense, keep digging yourself in deeper. I'm just going to get more popcorn, prop my feet up, and enjoy the show! NEXT!
Obviously you've never had your child kidnapped by the invisible Zanny Nanny. Just what is a grieving mother vomiting in toilets and grinding her hips in Fusion supposed to look like???!!!!ELEVENTY!!!are those the motions where they tell us we cant fry her cause she's 'a woman' and (my favorite) a grieving mother?

Nothing in your post has a thing to do with the question at hand. Nothing of Lee asking for State funds has a single, solitary thing to do with "Casey getting a fair trial". Or, are you insinuating that Lee would only be fair and honest if he were getting paid? No, that can't be it, because he wasn't working pro bono in the case that he was proven to be, and declared by the presiding Judge to be deceitful and not forthcoming.
FYI, the question that you responded to up-thread, (just a few short posts up, no less), pertained to Henry Lee giving his word that he would work pro bono, and then suddenly changing his tune and begging for State funds.
It seems that too many in our society need to familiarize themselves with the words "self-respect", "honoring ones own given word", and "self-dignity".
Henry Lee is representative of none of those character assets since his fingernail fiasco, and he repeats his own shameful character reflection again in this case by not standing as a man upon his own given word.
Can anybody tell me WHY are all these experts from out of state???? Aren't there any experts in FL?
Don't forget all the while, they were enjoying a high on high levels of chloroform in which kills humans for some reason but does not kill flies or maggots. IMO
So Baez can hide and funnel money thru them outside the jurisdiction of a Florida Judge/Court.
I wish I could clarify. I have asked in the chemist thread how this is that these high levels of chloroform kill humans but not flies. No answer from any of them. So, no I can not clarify. thanks
Zero degrees in a freezer for a week kills humans, too, but doesn't seem to kill flies, either. I don't know about maggots. Life can be strange sometimes.
Are you sure the level of chloroform in the trunk was high enough to kill? While the report read higher than usual concentrations and parts per million instead of parts per trillion (paraphrasing), I don't recall reading or hearing anywhere the levels of chloroform found in the trunk were deadly.
I watched the hearing but am no good at posting and listening at the same time so I have a couple of after thoughts I would like to ask others their opinions of.
First the way JP keep bringing up that this being a DP case when he agreed to things. During the first hearing I thought he brought up the DP so much as he was trying to stress the seriousness of the charges to KC but today I got a different impression. Today I got the impression that he was almost admonishing the SA for seeking the DP on this case each time he said it.
Second when they was discussing the need for a cell phone expert and the pings. It almost sounded like JP was saying that testimony may not even be permissible as you couldn't prove who was in possession of the phone.
Please tell me I am wrong on both accounts and that it was just me today after trying to watch such a long hearing with only a little sleep last night.
Maybe you'd feel differently if you lived in Florida and it was your tax dollars paying for it. The ones that YOU work for.
Not really. I believe in the fair trial system. The state has a lot of resources. The only way to make it fair is for the defense to have a lot of resources. I enjoy my rights do not wish to give them up for anyone. Anybody is welcome to write their representative and ask to have the system changed. I don't think many in this country would agree to give up their rights. Including their right to a fair trial. IMO
(Re: Baez using out-of-state experts)
You took the words right out of my mouth!! My hubby's office (full of experienced and well-respected attorneys) had the same idea. IMO (and in the opinion of MANY OTHERS) has a sneaky, less-than-truthful reputation. The fact that Henry Lee is one of his experts does not surprise me at all. Among legal circles, Henry Lee's name is MUD after the Spector trial. Read it and weep, Casey lovers.
I think he was indeed working pro bono. I saw that Ng episode. But now the state is willing to pay. Heck why not? There are many companies in this nation that will give you free just what they think is needed until you need them. Many Lawyers around here give a free half hour consultation. Some customers need to see it first. Nothing wrong with any of that in my opinion.
I watched that = hilarious - Baez is not high on media interviews now - really quite the grouch - wonder why?
