2011.01.05 Hearing TES Volunteer Computer Subpoena

He would be a complete [unusual person] if he got her on the stand. I inserted the unusual person to help Beach out.

I would love to see it as well.
Me too, just to watch LDB destroy KC on the stand.

I haven't caught up on the thread entirely, but, scanning through now and based on what I've seen so far I wanted to thank everyone for keeping the posting up to the high quality that reflects so well on the membership here. Buncha smart, people w/ class you are. :thumb:

Thanks.

In a very classy, professional way. It is going to be night and day between the way SA and Defense cross examines witnesses.

When this goes to trial, not only will we hear a load of objections, but tons of sidebars too. I just know that CM, and JB will try to say stuff that they know full well will be objections but they will want the jury to hear it. Little do they know that the Jury will see right through the laughable excuses they try and use.

Whoah .. I missed this whole interaction Monday between Judge Eaton, Judge Perry and Mason ... will definitely be re-watching the hearing ...

From your links:

O.H. "Bill" Eaton Jr., the 18th Judicial Circuit judge who ordered a new trial for convicted murderer Joseph "Crazy Joe" Spaziano and later cleared the way for Florida's first lethal-injection execution, retired Friday after 24 years on the bench.

Eaton, 67, of Sanford, became a nationally recognized expert on the death penalty and taught other judges from across the country how to try those cases

Also, interesting are some of his published articles:

Conducting the Penalty Phase of a Capital Case, Florida College of Advanced Judicial Studies, 2006
Conducting the Penalty Phase of a Capital Case, National Judicial College, Reno, Nevada 2006
Capital Punishment: An Examination of Current Issues and Trends and How These Developments May Impact the Death Penalty in Florida, 34 Stetson L. R. 9 (Fall 2004)
Discovery of Public Records In Capital Cases, The Florida Bar Journal, April, 2002

I may be way off here, but I thought HHJP was making a joke to CM about Eaton's leaving. He said something to the effect of "what did you do to him?" which I took to mean that HHJP was teasing CM that a prominent DP judge who was observing had (perhaps) left in (perhaps) disgust. If CM actually invited a judge from another circuit to observe and give him pointers, or if he invited him to intimidate HHJP, it obviously didn't have the intended effect.

I wouldn't think even CM would be capricious enough to risk the wrath of the head of the 9th Circuit by yet again trying to have a judge recused. CM and JB are barely afloat on the quagmire of quicksand they've already created and don't look like they've brought life preservers.

I got the impression that JB is challenging Judge Perry's authority to force the Defense to make their Experts write reports and give those reports and notes to the State within a certain time period. JB said today "we do not have to do that ... but now we do" ... and JB looked to Mason for confirmation and support (but got nothing but Mason's back).

Mason said in the last Hearing that there is NO law forcing the Defense to give info on their Expert opinions, short of a "script". He had said that before also.

I do believe there is something up their sleeve, to challenge the Judge's authority on the Expert opinions and reports.

I've been thinking that too, that Jose and Mason are challenging Judge Perry's order and perhaps even the sanctions ... Not having to turn over their evidence has been their mantra right along. How on earth they think that this won't backfire on them is beyond me though ...
With each court appearance Mason has made, he has shown a massive ego and disrespect for the state and the court ... his arrogance and need to bully are apparent ...
Just makes me wonder if he think he's has a chance of bullying this judge or is he TRYING to get thrown off the case entirely ... ?? :waitasec:

Thanks, I REALLY want to watch this again! :woohoo:

My Youtube is available also if needed -

MM :rocker:
Is it no where online?
PS- I can't open it...but is the video on WESH just a snippet of the hearing?

Honest to God, if I were on that jury, I'd be waiting to hear a compelling reason why KC didn't call 911 and report her baby kidnapped, and why she didn't call 911 at all.

The only thing I would accept is, 'I didn't call 911 because I was bound, gagged, and stuffed in a closet and it took me 31 days to chew through the rope.'

I can't fathom a jury that will accept that a mother knew the nanny kidnapped her baby, but instead of calling 911, she rented movies with her boyfriend and did nothing at all to find her baby.

My personal opinion is that's a hurdle the defense will not be able to jump.

Thanks cecy!
That could very well be ... I was reading speculation about it and hadn't seen the interaction when I watched the hearing ...

The only reason I even entertained the thought was from my own observations of the state and the defense and the judge at the hearings and Mr Mason is probably the biggest offender in the arrogance department and has no shame flaunting it ...

I appreciate the reply ... :)

Is it no where online?

I wonder why? Is it b/c ICA wasnt there? I've watched a lot of the hearings after the fact, almost every single one. I played with my son instead of watching since I put him through the last hearing and he was a good boy LOL. I so need to watch this!

*********IF*********** I did it right, the files have been sent to Muzikman and Lera.
Will you guys please post your links.

I am recording comments now - so those will be coming too.

Bond, can you leave this thread open to post the links, please?

I think he is ignorant enough to believe no report=nothing he has to report to the prosecution.

You know what they say - stupid lasts forever. He is certainly proving that to me every time he opens his mouth.

Little Bitty's assessment of today's motion hearing (based on the work product of WebSleuther's paraphrasing today's hearing)

Jose Baez: Photos! Need to have them! More spaghetti to throw at the wall. Need more fishing lines in the water...more bait to try and trick the jury with...JJ took them. Or he blogged that he took them. He then posted his link to his blog with pictures on the whole wide web...people on WS's investigate stuff. They don't post nice things about our defense strategy. An overwhelming majority of them post that they believe Casey is guilty. They don't fall for our spaghetti at the wall/fish bait strategy. This is unfair. Unreasonable. People don't think I am doing a good job. Posters post things. JJ was interested in finding Caylee...this is a slamdunk for the defense. I need blogs. Pictures...blah blah blah..

HHJP: No. No fishing expedition. NO. :furious:

JB: :( :banghead:

HHJP: I am in control. There are 7 days in a week. I will schedule things whenever I deem them necessary. You won't like it. Stop bringing frivolous motions in front of this court. (HHJP didn't really say the last sentence but it is totally implied) :loser:

JB: :( Who else I am supposed to blame Caylee's death on? :waitasec:

The entire courtroom, minus JB, CM, Casey: Really?:great:

HHJP: Motion denied. Come back in here again with the same whackadoodle motions and this kind of stuff will keep happening to the defense. :twocents:

The above is all my work product and opinion. Period. But it is as close to an actual description of today's hearing that I wanted to convey. :)

:great::great::great::great:

I am 99.9% sure it wasn't a joke. CM's reaction said it all. He was genuinely flustered.

Where can I see this? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Keep checking back here - I have sent files to several people to put it on youtube. They will post links here. If we behave with the name calling maybe MR.BOND will leave this open for the links!

Recording the commentary now -- and you will love their take on the smackdown Monday!

UPDATE-- also sent the files to TWA. One of these guys will make sense of my mess, I hope! LOL

Joke, or no joke.

The one thing that I did notice was when Judge Perry pointed out to Mason that this other judge was leaving, Mason was not experiencing "hearing problems" one little bit.

He whipped himself around and was remarking before he finished that turn about.
There was probably a good crack that resulted out of his neck with that whip-o-matic turn.

Regarding todays hearing, I missed it and see that some are talking about posting it on youtube.

Has that been done yet, and if so, can someone repost the link, or, please PM it to me?
TIA everyone ~

I've got to hand it to all of you WSers......you sure work together to get this information out to those of us that don't always get to see or hear these hearings firsthand!! Thanks so much!!
