Well, I guess I better get some work done. I've read, posted, shook my head & laughed for nearly two hours. Now I have to stay up late(r)...

Will have to check in later to see what SOTS, AZ and others have to say, though. It's gonna be a long night!

There was nothing ever said or written about the position of the body as far as I know. It was Kronk who said the skull was upright and the defense misunderstood as usual. How could placement of the body ever be determined when the bones were scattered over an acre after a hurricane and wild animals carried them?

Sorry - yes - I've commented and used the word body when I meant skull per Spitz...

They both appear to be, and I have never seen such a concentrated effort!!!

It would take a lot for a Judge to do that. But I do think JB and company are doing a bang up job of really Peeving His Honor off. I bet he's oscillating in his chair at home :)

attorney Cheney Mason has filed a lengthy motion asking the court to reconsider the sanction imposed against fellow defense attorney Jose Baez last week for failing to turn over discovery information to the prosecution.

The 12-page motion also provides additional details about what defense expert witnesses will testify about during depositions and, presumably, at trial.

"The defense has, because of the intervening actions, provided the above information in an effort to, not only fulfill the requirements of the court, but also show a good faith effort in complying with this court's directions," Mason wrote.

For some strange reason I do not see Judge Perry looking at this as a good faith effort:waitasec:

Ok, I was just over at the ninth court website and found this gem. Not sure if it has been discussed in another thread but I didn't see it in this one.
http://www.ninthcircuit.org/news/Hi...iance With Order for Additional Discovery.pdf

Short and sweet authored by Jeff A. Jose was sent a copy of this along with the list of expert witnesses by email on 22 Dec. 10.

Basically, it's a response to the Dec 10th court order for "clarification to compel compliance with order for additional discovery". Jeff states that of the 38 state witnesses with the classification of expert, 36 submitted or co-signed reports. The two remaining are Christine Ballard and David Bogart.

What caught my attention is Christine who's "field of expertise is forensic anthropology. She will testify as to the creation of a video superimposition involving a photograph of Caylee Anthony in life, a photograph of her skull and a photograph of the duct tape found with her skull."

David is an expert in "radio frequency engineering and his testimony will concern the interpretation of movement and usage patterns of the Defendant's mobile phone."

Mod alert: Please move this to the correct thread if necessary !

I put this in another thread earlier today, and realize that JB got this info 12.22.10. Unless I missed it, I don't recall reading any expert for the defense who would be challenging Christine's presentation for the SAO from reading this so called motion submitted today.

Long ago, we had discussions whether the SAO would actually present a life size replica of what the duct tape would look like on Caylee. AZlawyer and others can chime in on this.

I'm now thinking that JB doesn't want the public to know about this in some way, shape or form.

We would hear the roar of WOOHOO and HOT DAMN across the whole country.:great::great:

Does anyone know why Casey was not require to be at the last hearing? And do you think she will be there Friday??

I hope so. If this issue is discussed she needs to be witness to it. And for a number of reasons.

All I can think of while reading this is poor Caylee's skull being opened. I cannot wait for Casey to be forced to listen to what she did. We already know what happened when she got a glimpse of the prosecution a few months back.

There's no need for an apology lg, it's JB and company that are so misguided it's almost comical. How on earth do they think that Dr. G meant Caylee's little body was placed upright in the woods? This is proof that they either have not read 1/10th of the discovery or that it just simply does not compute:crazy:

I don't think we'll even see a blip out of ICA - but CA and GA will be a whole different story - I shudder to think of it if it was my grandchild......I honestly don't know if I am strong enough to hear that......

I'll take what's behind Door #1.

Reading all that information takes effort - something Baez does not offer.

BBM: Why does the phrase 'a day late and a dollar short' pop into my mind when I read this statement from CM?

The only thing Dr G would need to do to open the skull would be to take off the duct tape- that is what was holding the parts together, how ironic for ICA to have to listen to that...

"Make him stop" is all I have to say:furious:

I think ME opens the skull to get the brain out in one piece. In this case it would not be necessary. Makes you wonder how much was taken out of context of what defense was actually told by the experts. jmo

Best. Thread. EVER!

I'm laughing so much, I'm crying!!!

I swear, this is like a 3 Stooges episode or something.

The HUBRIS (thx Bill S) of the defense team is simply staggering.
