Glimpses of the old "combative" George happening here. Only it is with JB this time, not the State.

If I was GA I would say "Yes I could have been mistaken about certain things. That was a very stressful time. My beloved Granddaughter was missing and my daughter was lying and playing mind games with us, trying to confuse everyone and everything. Unfortunately her lies and mind games worked to a certain extent and I was confused." Turn this back around on the liar defendent.

I would love to see this happen. But then the defense would start screaming and howling to have the remark removed from the record or something to that effect.

whats wrong with JB. what diff does it make when he cut the grass??

IMO
having watched JB in court for almost 3 years ...he has trouble controlling 'his looks' and it is very apparent now during trial..even DH who did not follow the case has noticed the smirks, facial expressions and looks JB conveys.

I think it was intentional. It was supposed to be his "big moment" that he got GA mad and "look how angry this man is, omg". Sadly he didn't realise that GA didn't come across as mad as JB thought he was.

We have to remember what the jury is thinking......not what we all know from being here the whole time.

And they are prolly thinking right now "Who gives a prune how often he mows the yard or how tall the grass was????"

I LOVEEEE how GA starting laughing at Baez's dumb questions!!!

  • #727
punch him George, punch him!!!

  • #728
Are they going to fist fight?! (jk)

Here we go!

Maybe GA called the police concerning the stolen gas cans because, knowing that ICA had stolen them, he was secretly hoping that some heat from the police would put some fear into his wayward daughter.

GA told JMorgan et al during that depo that he didn't cut his lawn - and didn't place the duct tape on the vent.. Now he is saying he did.

But that is another separate "Civil" action. Not admissible in this crimina one, right legal people????????????

Doesn't anybody care that GA is lying on the stand today or, if not today, he lied before?

That's exactly what JB is claiming - that KC learned to lie from GA and CA.

Its clear to me where the defense is going with this (and other lines of questioning with other witnesses). Its a sound strategy given their opening statement.

There seems to be an overwhleming number of posters here who become distressed by any testimony or statement which tends to benefit the defense. Regardless of your opinion on what truly happened...this trial was turned on its head after opening statements.

This will not be a parade to the gallows many were anticipating, in fact there is a good chance - unless the prosecution can convince the jury that their story (including lack of COD) is more likely than the defense version - that ICA will be found not guilty.

The credibility (moreso lack thereof) of GA is crucial to the defense, so they will highlight and press all inconsistencies.

I hope George controls his temper and doesn't deck JB!! I can see JB baiting him.

  • #734
Oh good God. JB is ... I have no words.

  • #735
JB rolling out his funwagon of Picture Pages

  • #736
For a state of the art courtroom, there sure are a lot issues with not being able to hear.

  • #737
Someone please explain to me where JB is going with this line of questioning!

  • #738
JB may regret asking GA to be that close to him. :) (I know I'm dreaming...but what a pleasant dream.)

  • #739
If GA called the Sherriff over the stolen gas cans, doesn't
it make sense that IF Caylee died in the pool he would call 911?

  • #740
JB is such an ___
