Why is an ex-FBI person trying to help a killer get off?

That's not a fair statement at all. Most witnesses are compelled to testify not matter what side calls them. It doesn't mean they are trying to get a 'killer' off.

It appears what Baez is questioning her on was NOT submitted into evidence...maybe he should have submitted it first???? Darn if I truly know...Baez doesn't seem to know where is going other than to confuse and obfucate from the truth...of Caylee's true demise...JMHO

I think JA is doing a really good job of taking the exact opposite kind of tone from the one the Defense had during the prosecution's case. He appears to be making an effort to not be combative, demeaning, or patronizing at all (no matter how redonkulous he actually thinks they're being).

I hope he can stay that way. It is hard, imo, to not get testy with this DT.

The defendant is directing her assistants like a manager. She tells them it's ok to go to the sidebar (CM) and then the big guy to move and look at her monitor so that she can move to chair #3 next to Ms Sills and then back to chair 2.

I would like to put my two cents in that I don't mind the commentary that some seem to. As long as they are on topic, and they usually are, I am able to follow along as to what is happening and get a good laugh at the same time. WIth the wonderful transcription thrown in to clarify, it is much better than that alone. IMO
