Am I hearing this right? JJ and about 5 people went 5 feet into the woods, when he went back to site later, after Caylee was found, the spot of 45 feet from the road?

I heard that right?

Isn't it ironic that the DT has ripped apart the police cadaver dogs but are willing to claim that a dog we DON'T know the training of is accurate?

re officer behind Casey

Bill Sheaffer:
There is an officer. They move around the courtroom during trial and nothing should be made of him standing behind Casey

6:04 am - return the jury....HHBP taking medications @ the bench ...

CM calls Joe Jordan to the stand....employed w/dental supply company in Central FL...in June-Sept 2008, volunteer to work w/Texas Equsearch...first time volunteered in search for people...became a team leader- direct the search and lead the team...had 10-30 people assigned to him....around first of Sept. to search Suburban Drive one of the areas given to search for Caylee....CM brings out easel....get witness miked up....object to this as it has already been marked by another.....CM sets it aside....CM asks for a copy from LDB - allow witness to return to his seat....place photo on overhead projector....

area on Suburban Drive where Texas EquiSearch search...when went out to search lead a team on each of the occassions you went there? not every time no...first time? I believe so...don't recall how many on the team probably more than 10 - all search for Caylee....area search relative to Suburban Drive. Park down here and along area...main focus of the search ....he highlights all areas searched....nearer toward the school...any of team go into wooded area....names 4 people who went into the wood area....briefed on what and how to do the search ....how far into the woods on that occassion with those people? 5' into the woods - red cooler and pink baby blanket.....marked on field activity report...turned over to TES - do you if SO responded and collected pink baby blanket? don't know....Also searched Chicasaw trail....on that day the only area on the first occassion....later that day a dog handler from another team come and bring dog up that way....same day brought an individual to check baby blanket and cooler....dont remember if it was same day or not 2 dog handlers brought in.....one is cadavar dog? object....don't know if cadavar dog....tell any detectives you were there with a police officer from Panama City with a cadavar dog? yes.....conduct a search in your presence? object-overrule....wasn't a search just had him sniff those two articles....a second dog sniffed those 2 articles of interest....not a search....taken back out there to be shown exact location where remains were found? I did go with Brett Churchhill....how far from the road? I don't know the distance he explained about 45 feet (object

Oh, gawd, what's with the tape measure??? Now we have interactive testimony.

That's what I was thinking, especially after seeing her angry outburst. She seems unhinged.

I guess that's what they would like the Jury to think anyway....

Quick question, Were the 2 plastic bags inside the white laundry bag?

The defense is using these witnesses to help benefit their NEW defense theory...Way back when these people were asserting they did NOT find the body when they searched or the area was underwater which played well for the Prosecution. Now the Defense is using it to show that YES the body was NOT THERE so someone must have put it there when Casey was in jail.

Twighlight zone

Wasnt the theory even discussed here ? I seem to remembr alot of members being aware of all the searchers and wondering how it was missed.

Really it doesnt make much since that in the first days of the searches before the area was under water in Aug, that she was so close to being found but not. Given a red bag would have had stood out.

I dont know about Kronk moving her ,but I can see how the thought formed.

That LEO behind KC must have been parked there for a reason. Me thinks to curb the texting.

Could you please remind us what he said? TIA!

He accused the DT (PI Lyons) of miscontruing his words and he taped the converstation without the PI knowing and it couldn't be viewed by counsel. Thought they were trying to set him up....I'll try to find the article...

Also with Laura Buchanan doctoring up TES documents...

As another note, during the hearing where the defense argued the motion, Baez admitted that Jordan did not search the *exact*
area where the remains were found.

Why does Mason always come off as so hostile???

Years of practice. I think his voice and tone sound precisely like he wants at all times with just the right amount of sarcasm and incredulity.

What was this guy's screen name here at WS? Did he ever post anything of importance or get on the certified local list?
Is he pro defense or pro-prosecution?
