Why does he refer to the fence as a "privacy fence" as opposed to a fence? Is that a Southern saying?

As I understand, a "privacy fence" would be made of wood, so passersby can't see into a yard - offering privacy. Other fences such as a chain link, or a post fence offers a barrier, yet leaves the property visible to onlookers.

OT: BTW, whenever I see your screen name, I read it as "Boblo Law", remembering taking my kids to the now closed Boblo Island Amusement Park, Windsor, Canada.

Perhaps he's pleading the 5th because it is illegal to record conversations w/o consent of all parties.

I happen to know where Joe Jordan works and this is not good for his employment. I feel sorry for him...he was trying to do a good thing.

I remember back in the day, Mr. Jordan was all about being up in this case. I am glad he went and searched, but IMHO he was all about inserting himself into this case. I also remember at the time the prosecution got involved with him, he had mucho trouble as he was going through a divorce and all of this was going to play into his ex's hand. What a mess. Why do people need to meddle? All he had to do was search. That's all.

Jury leaves. LDB going after CM for soliciting that 5th amendment response: stating that CM knew he was going to say it and it would influence the jury.

Now CM is mad.

Imo, this guy's heart was in the right place. He searched and searched for Caylee. He did nothing wrong, imo, and has been put in a bad place by a DT that is grasping at straws. Do you think he will ever help find another missing child? Probably not. His experience has also made me think twice about doing what he did if the occasion would arise in my town. jmo :seeya:

I know he searched and searched for Caylee, I read his posts at the time and his efforts were admirable. I fully respect him for that. However the email was, as he has just said, a mistake, and it was a mistake that the DT leapt on, and that caused quite a lot of grief.

However, I do respect his motivations for searching, and I do feel for him right now being on the stand. I just find it hard to listen to the email being discussed because it was such a potentially disastrous mistake. Unfortunately it was his own action that put him in this bad place.

Its about a secret tape recording he made when he met with the DT because he didn't trust them.

And that tape is sealed because it is not legal to tape someone if they don't know it is happening. JJ gave the tape to the LE, and fessed up to what he had done, with his lawyer in tow.

Because he secretly recorded the DT because he didn't trust them.
