I think it says: "A Man's hand" drawing.

ie: the a's look like a u
many d's are not connected
IMO letters that are clear in the writing are the n's, l's, and w's (look at the w in drawing). I don't see an l in this entry.



Looking at the recently posted Bing footage, thank you @Twistinginthewind : IMO he was a mile behind that truck, according to east coast standards.

What struck me about the video was there was a police car to his left and drove past it on the right (2:58). Left lane is for faster moving cars and never drive faster than a police car on a highway IMO.

Bryan Kohberger's attorney is going "on the offense" by filing a motion to compel prosecutors to turn over more evidence in the University of Idaho murders case.

Kohberger's attorney is doing "what any good defense lawyer does: go on the offense," Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor and president of West Coast Trial Lawyers, told Newsweek.

"Judges don't like it when the state doesn't turn over evidence, and judges can sanction the prosecution as a result."

Rahmani noted that an Idaho judge took the death penalty off the table in the murder trial of Lori Vallow "because prosecutors didn't comply with their discovery obligations."

Michael McAuliffe, a former federal prosecutor and elected state attorney, told Newsweek that a detailed defense motion to compel the state to produce additional or specific items during discovery "is not unusual."

"Of course, several items sought by the defense are, or were, once located in Pennsylvania, so the Idaho authorities must obtain the evidence, review it, and classify it before anything could be produced or shown to the defense," he said.

Both Rahmani and McAuliffe noted that prosecutors have an obligation to turn over exculpatory material with or without a defense motion.

Exculpatory evidence "must be disclosed under the Supreme Court's Brady decision," Rahmani said. "Other evidence like bodycams and lab results have to be disclosed upon request under the Idaho Criminal Rules.

I don't think BK would be allowed to present expert testimony on this. I am sure the Defense has retained some sort of polling group that has sampled opinions in the area to support their position.

Mock juries are pretty common in major cases now.

Where do you get ‘mock jurors’ from? I just wonder how they would compare to a real jury who are compelled to do jury service at that point of time, rather than who choose to do a mock jury/presumably get paid (rather than reimbursed loss of earnings).

In Washington state its illegal to pull torward into the intersection to wait to turn left.

Thank you for the explanation! I actually had a similar situation. I was stopped, ready to cross a state road. There was another driver on the opposite side who had arrived at the stop sign before me and was intending to turn left. Once the cross traffic cleared, I started to cross just as the other driver blew her horn and screamed expletives at me. I am fairly familiar with residential areas (had there been a traffic light, I would have had the right away).

I was disturbed by the encounter. I asked my boss, an expert on our state law about the situation. He wasn't sure himself and googled our state law. It turned out I had the right away in the situation, which made me feel better (Don't want to be THAT guy).

But it definitely made me realize how often the BK pulling into an intersection situation happens. In his instance, I don't think he was purposely breaking the law. I think the law is confusing as hell.

I'm not really expecting anyone to know. We're all stating our opinions because none of us know.



I'm not assuming the Kohberger case is the only thing on the prosecutor's desk. Not at all. By law, they need to comply with the defense's requests. If they can't or choose not to, they should state that. The defense clearly feels there is exculpatory evidence in some of this, so I don't believe that these particular things would be "discoverable only if they are used at trial." There is no sound reason I can think of that Moscow PD notes weren't turned over.

I can give you one off the top of my head: maybe the defense is wrong and, in the prosecution's view, there is nothing exculpatory to BK in the requested material. Just because the defense "thinks" it, doesn't make it true or enforceable on the DA.

Maybe the DA is playing games, or maybe the defense is trying to mount a smear campaign making the DA look like s/he is hiding something.

Any of these are possible and have happened in other trials. So I don't know how you or I or anyone else not on the inside can form an "opinion". Random guess, maybe, but not an opinion, as I understand the term.

ETA because the "advertisers" didn't like an adjective I used that refers to a horse-like animal.
