Yes. Committing a felony that leads to a person's death is 'felony murder.'So, theoretically, he could be found guilty of felony murder (if he is proven to be bridge guy by the prosecution) but not guilty of murder?
Just trying to lay this all out in my head!
Robbing a store, and that ends up killing the clerk in any way - even if you are not the shooter is felony murder.
Kidnapping that leads to the victim's death is felony murder.
Etc.
