This is what I have been saying all along. While I agree DWs story sounds fishy and doesn't add up, there may be a logical reason for that. Miscommunication on his part out of fear that he will lose his family and or business. He does not come across as the type that would think ahead to disable a LoJack GPS system. On top of that is the timeline, (although I haven't seen anything official that corroborates his times), how would he leave at 11:24 make it to Dublin's, talk to someone and get the phone, make it to Ollie's talk to them for a bit and then drop his rental car at 1am then go home? Where is the time frame to make DNV and her car disappear. We also know that he relayed much more information to LE than he did with JDT.
That only leaves 2 options:
1. DNV wanted to disappear and had someone disable the LoJAck and purposely left her phone behind. The problem with this is there is zero evidence to suggest she would do something like this.
2. Someone had prior knowledge of the LoJack and had to know that DNV would be at the Shell station. I absolutely do not believe this is a random act against DNV. The key to that is the disabled LoJAck. A random act, car jacking, theft etc would never take the time or have the knowledge that her car had the LoJack installed on it. (Unless they worked for Pearl Motors). I know people like to believe that car jackers and thieves are really smart and would know there was a tracking device on the car but really they're not.
So all in all I think whomever was in Car 3 knew DNV or had prior knowledge of her, her car and the GPS tracker.
