Also the complete lack of urgency in her body language from that abc article video is really something. She looks bored of the whole thing
Sure does. Lying liar.
So much smarter than those police.

NOT.

You can tell even from that short clip that she thinks she's smarter than anyone else...

"Is there a pin code on your phone? Do you know what it is?"

Patterson replies, however the phone unlocks without a pin code, and is taken by the detective.

"Makes your job easy," Patterson quips.

The device, which came to be nicknamed Phone B, had already been factory reset by Patterson, who managed to remotely wipe the device a final time after it was in a police safe.

During Patterson's trial, prosecutors said nothing meaningful was found on the Samsung device.

The main phone Patterson had been using in the lead-up to the lunch, nicknamed Phone A, was never located.

However, officers were able to retrieve cell tower data, which placed Phone A in the vicinity of sites where death cap mushrooms were growing.

Patterson denied hiding Phone A, and insisted it had been missed by officers who searched her home. [bbm]

Yeah, sure it was missed by police because she either hid it or diposed of it.

Nobody loses their pin code! I enter mine a million times per day!

Also, I found it quite a bit more chilling to see that she had not just given them a dummy phone, but she had put it into the pink case it appears? To replicate the phone case in the hospital?
That or, she has a bunch of pink phone cases. She really is not a pink person, IMO

I wonder what the outcome would have been if Ian had died. Did his testimony give weight to the evidence?
Ian’s testimony was pivotal because it was more than evidentiary, it was humanising. Ian had the lived reality and because of him the case became a moral reckoning. He gave voice to the deception, witness to the trauma, and connected the intention to the consequence. Without him the prosecution would’ve been left clutching at circumstantial threads, tracing financial trails, and trying to decode behavioural red flags. If he hadn’t pulled through, the entire case may have completely unravelled.

I thought she handed over a phone in a red case?

I’m sure Erin will turn up to court, just to get a whiff of Ali-Rose’s perfume.

I can’t imagine in which world we are classifying Lisa what’s-her-name as a journalist or any kind of reliable source. She’s incredibly biased in her “reporting” of the case, and her tone can come across as childish, petty and unprofessional.

I can’t imagine any reputable news organisation would have her in their employ. IMO

That woman really doesn't have a good voice for a podcast. I, on the other hand... 😏
You got the pipes for podcasting, Jess?
