'They could still be alive': Simon's statement read to court
Dr Rogers revealed that the final victim impact statement has been penned by Simon.
It is being read out by a family member.
Simon said he missed his mum, dad and aunt and their “love of me”.
“I’m grateful that they’re with God and I’ll see them again,” he said.
Simon added that they were living “fulfilling lives” before those lives were “cruelly cut short”.
“I will be aware for roughly the next 30 years that they could still be alive, if Erin had not chosen to murder them,” he said.
“Praise God that at least Ian miraculously survived.”
