Most Californians know not to forage mushrooms or let their dogs eat mushrooms off the lawn. Only eat mushrooms purchased from a market.
It's beyond me. I never forage mushrooms. I only buy mushrooms from a market, then you are guaranteed that they are safe.Mushrooms aren’t even expensive when they’re hand picked from an organic safe seller. Why do people continue this?
If only EP had taken that course of action and bought her mushies from a grocery store.Mushrooms aren’t even expensive when they’re hand picked from an organic safe seller. Why do people continue this?
Yes, she was a meticulous researcher. Not so good at hiding evidence, though.Erin's experience as a mushroom forager means that she knew she was picking Death Caps. She knew exactly what to look for and what to avoid. She purposely foraged the Death Caps. That's why she had all the books and photos of them.
That's the point- it was no "accident". She intended to forage for Death Caps and knew exactly what to look for and where to find them. She figured that she could pull it off by hiding them in a dish with other innocuous mushrooms so that no one could blame it on the mushrooms. If only EP had taken that course of action and bought her mushies from a grocery store.
Im relieved this person is now a former member . Honestly some of these posts are misinformation and should be removedFrom what I was told, some friends deleted the chats etc but one of them had screenshots saved.
The images of the mushrooms she sent to the group and the dehydrator were damning, along with the screenshots of Erin hating on her in-laws and Simon. iMO
However, they could have been obtained by subpoena from Facebook server records?
I noticed two of the witnesses said she seemed like an excellent mother. That’s not what I saw. I thought there were problems with her parenting from little things I noticed in photographs etc. Eg they always looked dishevelled and wore clothes too small for them. She never purchased them anything new - toys, clothes, devices. She got everything off marketplace. She was extremely stingy with money. They ate a lot of convenience food. Etc
One time she asked me to help her jail break one of her children’s iPods because it was so old it no longer functioned. She was too cheap to buy a new one.
She made very derogatory comments about one of the children’s looks which I found very very odd.
I always found her parenting to be off. No idea what those “friends” were seeing, but then again, they didn’t see that they had a psychopath mass murderer under their nose, either. Our original group all found Erin to be psycho which is why we stopped being friends with her.
I saw possession, not love or connection.
I have also been told about other allegations which I won’t publicly share but suffice to say I wouldn’t put it past Erin to poison her own children if it meant some sort of advantage to her.
Hardly a good mother.
IMO
I completely disagree. They were a verified insider and IMO provided unique insight into the case and offender.Im relieved this person is now a former member . Honestly some of these posts are misinformation and should be removed
