There was CCTV of the car on Samuel's Road from a private residence, but as of yet, no one had spotted her on Samuel's Road.

Yep correct
TIME 10.30 am
Officers have seen footage showing Pheobe in the back of the Hyundai caught on the CCTV of a home on Samuels Road.
They have also returned to the road several times, and searched beyond the perimeter of the dump.

Alleged stolen money mentioned?

Quote from the link above

"Cops don't seem to really care that when she left she took nearly $5K out of mine and Tee's room but still harass us,
like
'well how could she have just gone,
how hasn't she popped up on her bank statements?
Because she has $5K 🤬🤬🤬*ing cash'."

Hmmm....
Yep more victim blaming by him

Is that timing correct though? Or is it only reporting one of the sightings? I remember there being CCTV of the car travelling towards the airport around 8:30am.
You first posted that they may have kicked her out on Smauels rd, which I've said is most likely improbable because she would have been seen on the CCTV, it wasn't dash cam footage from a moving car.

Even if she got out of the car on Airport Drive, no one saw her, no CCTV footage from the Airport.

A six-foot lady with long red hair and a large duffle bag, and no one saw her.
It's a busy road; how could no one spot her or miss her on a dash cam?

So when she left the car, they:
Drove to the airport
Waited at the terminal
Checked side roads
To see if they could find her.

Notably not mentioned: calling and calling or texting her, asking her where she was, why she left etc..
Not too bright are they

It would almost be a script for a comedy if it wasnt so serious!

Prince and Carroll all over again. Dumb and Dumber

That's the first time I've seen that she was spotted in the back of the car on Samuel's road.

yeah it was posted up previously but maybe taken down

If the timestamp is correct then it places that car around 10.30 along Samuel Road

This is 2 long hours after PB left Gin Gin

My theory is something happened to her at the property and bundled in the car trying to work out what to do next. Knowing the airport was the destination and that she will eventually be reported missing, the cars GPS would have tracking to show if the car did indeed head to Bundy airport.
It gave D & D plenty of opportunity to work out a plan JMO IMO OMO

Then he lays it all bare in his little interview with the paper

I wonder if the reporters or QPS got the time zones mixed up. PB might have phoned the BF at 10.30 Eastern time because she missed her flight and they started to argue in the car on the way back. (WA is 2 hours behind the East Coast) Surely the BF would have known the flight number the day before or whenever PB booked the plane flight. MOO

Surely they didn't drive around with her in the back seat, deceased?

Is it really possible that the mere waking up somebody at 5 am
can lead to unholy screaming and broken TV?

What were they really arguing about I wonder.
Sadly, there are people out there who are that angry, yes. I had a client who screamed at another client and threatened to put her head through a wall because she didn't let the water in the kettle boil all the way before pouring some for herself. I've had people punch holes in walls for even less than that. I have zero problem believing he could have snapped just for that. Some people are so unhinged that they were never hinged in the first place.

Them leaving their own car and coming back to her gone is strange and suspicious, giving- we couldn't have done it!11!- also if she was gone why wouldn't they call her phone first or go into the airport instead of driving around? Especially since they turned around to Good Night Scrub National Park which is the wrong way for PB to go anyway.

Exactly. If Pheobe had taken her bag and left the car and they were concerned, the first thing to do would be to call her mobile...

...Except if someone had already switched it off by then.

Agreed. Some people and especially teens can become extremely irate first thing in the morning if things don’t go their way. Perhaps this is when/where a serious incident occurred. However, do to past reports, Pheobe was seen in the backseat of the car on the drive toward the airport. 🤷‍♀️

There's been a lot of confusion about the times, mostly because of poor reporting by the media.
Originally it was reported by Police that Pheobe was last seen at Airport Drive around 8:30am. Obviously, that sighting was by the housemates, so may not be accurate.
Next it was reported that she last spoke with her boyfriend at 8:30am. We're now hearing that he either heard nothing, or heard arguing.

If she was in fact in the car with the housemates during this 'argument', as they were leaving Gin Gin at 8:30am, that would have them arriving at Airport Drive around 9:10am.
That would be a reasonable time to be arriving for a 10:10am flight.

However, it's suggested that the housemates Hyundai/Toyota transforming car wasn't captured on CCTV on Samuels Rd until 10:30am.
Are we to believe that JW and TB drove around looking for Pheobe for more than an hour, even though they'd left her within direct sight of the airport and it would be reasonable to think that she'd simply walked the rest of the way herself?

What does the following bolded quote even mean? I am Canadian and doesn’t there have to be a charge before someone can be arrested? How is he assisting police with inquiries? Or is this a way of saying he is arrested on suspicion? Or is this poor journalism?

Snipped BBM
“Police have arrested the male housemate of Pheobe Bishop as part of their investigation into the 17-year-old’s disappearance.
James Wood, 34, was taken into police custody in Bundaberg on Wednesday and is assisting police with inquiries. No charges have been laid.”

doesn’t there have to be a charge before someone can be arrested?

No, an arrest can occur before someone is charged with an offence.

Someone may be arrested where there is an outstanding warrant for their arrest, or without a warrant where they are committing or have committed an offence, and the police officer is satisfied that the arrest is reasonably necessary.

This. My teen daughter is literally planning her outfits for a trip 3 months away. There’s no way pheobe didn’t have everything planned especially if she was so concerned about being ready

... and eventually departing the plane to meet someone she was very excited to see again, and had been romantically involved with...

What a creep. Hopefully P will be found soon, wearing his befouled trackies, no doubt exactly as he presplained.

She must have spent a fair bit of her time in that rubbish heap/ house fending JW off.

The track pants detail is ludicrous. A teenage girl off to see her boyfriend wants to look her best, pretty and lovely. So she is going to arrive wearing overly baggy men's track pants to make an impression? Even the waistline would be oversized on her slender frame. Concerned about her make up, but ok with looking sloppy ? Why these pants when all she needed was one of her own outfits that were right there, even if in a huge hurry. gmab.
Is Wood so scared now because police are very close to finding her, hence his ridiculous story?

Thankfully, Queensland has No Body, No Parole laws.

“No Body, No Parole laws were introduced in 2017 and apply to a prisoner sentenced for a
homicide offence where the victim’s remains have not been located.

The policy restricts a prisoner’s access to parole unless they have provided satisfactory
cooperation in locating the victim’s remains.

This is how it should be everywhere! It should be a no-brainer that a person doesn't get parole if they don't tell where the body is located.

Also, if she was killed en route to the airport this duffel bag would have been full of her clothes and items. To fit her in it all those items would have to have been disposed of separately.

I lived a few months in a similar house to the one Pheobe was in. Similar housemates. I didn’t want to breathe the same air as them, wouldn’t even use the same plates let alone wear his clothes. It was quite clear how much she didn’t like them.

Lastly how was she supposed to put makeup on in the backseat without a mirror?
Not that I believe anything he says actually happened (at this point I'm starting to think she was in a duffel bag in the trunk,) but she would have probably used the front-facing camera on her phone as a make-shift mirror.
