If she’s broken her original bail conditions
( having to attend the police station daily while out on bail?) could this new court appearance be for that?

You would think that ANY court appearance by her would be headline news for at least the Daily Mail. I am wondering why the media haven’t reported on it.

It has gone very quiet.

Yeah, I could imagine it would be a little awkward for her going into the local police station daily at the moment with the media and locals camped out

What happens if she doesn't attend?

Unless she has leave not to attend she would be crazy not to at this point as a warrant would be issued for her arrest

Search for missing teen Pheobe Bishop continues in Good Night Scrub National Park

The search of dense bushland south-west of Bundaberg for missing teenager Pheobe Bishop is continuing for the fourth day.

Police continue appeal for information

The search area at Good Night Scrub National Park is more than an hour south-west of Bundaberg.

A police spokesperson said her last known location was Airport Drive in Bundaberg.

Police officers and people in protective coveralls near emergency vehicles on a suburban street.

A crime scene was established in Gin Gin, where 17-year-old Phoebe Bishop was living. (ABC Wide Bay: Johanna Marie)

"But police are continuing to investigate that," the spokesperson said.

Police are continuing to appeal for information from the Mingo and Gayndah road areas of Good Night Scrub National Park.

They must have footage or something of the car on those roads.

Or maybe google searches on phones?

I agree with you here!
In missing persons cases, the last place/s they are known to be seen are usually determined crime scenes until investigations are done. So for the house and car, it makes sense.
They do sound like troubled people but they could also be completely innocent.
The only interesting thing is they have been publicly named. Whereas the boyfriend has said very little and has not been named.
This could be a tactic to get more info out of JW & TB or they simply didn’t mind having their names out there because they have nothing to hide. Regardless, the police have appealed for sightings of the Hyundai so it makes me think there’s a gap of time they can’t place JW & TB.
The roomates, I dunno, dead dogs? They sound pretty hardcore to me.

They were initially publicly named by members of the community not the police.

Does anyone know which part of Good Night Scrub they are searching?

This isn’t adding up.

Who would ever be asked to be dropped outside an airport with luggage (even if it’s just carry on/ hand luggage?)
Nobody would!
You ask to be dropped at the terminal or the terminal and gate/ or at the area closest to the specific airline you are flying.

Unless you are meeting someone for a nefarious action/ drug meeting or unless the person dropping you off is in a great hurry to get somewhere like a work meeting.

I don’t think Pheobe asked to be dropped off “in the vicinity of” the airport.

Why bother driving someone all the way to the airport if you aren’t dropping them off in the right place? That’s not right.

Based on the fact that police are asking for witnesses who have seen the car in question/ dash cam video/ sightings I suspect that the car in question was not where the driver said it was.

Motive could be something of a sexual nature or drug nature or money dispute or jealousy.
I doubt this was a situation where roommate(s) would have sold her into trafficking?

She was in a dangerous place living in a filthy home with at least one animal abuser.
We all know what they say animal abuse escalates to…..

Video cam footage should show whether she even can be seen riding in the car or if her body may have just been transported in the car that fateful morning.

If I had to guess I bet something nefarious happened the night or two before P’s intended journey. I think the call/ text to boyfriend was staged and I think the drive near the airport was staged. Then I think someone intentionally disengaged her phone.

I’M ALARMED THAT PHEOBE DID NOT CHECK IN FOR HER FLIGHT.
She would have received text messages and/or emails to check in the day before her flight.
I don’t think she was able to check in - I don’t think she was alive the day before her flight.

It would be good to know when someone actually talked to P last before her disappearance.

I expect there will be an arrest or two presently though maybe not in the next few days.

Sadly I’m expecting another Samantha Murphy situation- I don’t think Pheobe will be found. Too many good hiding places in Australia. I hope I’m wrong.

All IMHO

Do the Flightaware helicopter maps posted previously overlap the Mingo Road and Gayndah Road areas?

Now that's actually a really good point. You can check in early online and you do get emails/sms about it. Not sure about that particular airport - I have never flown from Bundy. But I'd assume it was the same.

A young girl excited for her trip - I can imagine would have jumped at the chance to check in online.

Very strange.

I just checked and yes exactly that area, near where they intercept. There is a creek there starting with T. That must be where they are looking

It looks desolate. I am not local,, but the access approaches, any insights on what direction from the airport, the home (if you can call it that) or other roads the police have been asking for footage from?
