Do we know where the couple TK and JW are presently? Didn't they leave that house, or did they go back after the police searched it.
But it's a "crime scene" so I imagine they can't.

I very much doubt the couple would be able to set foot anywhere in public at the moment. I would assume they are in hiding. Their faces have been plastered everywhere and they would not be very popular anywhere I imagine.

But you can guarantee that the police know exactly where they are (I hope).

@Dotta, agree, don't know what to think either.

Just seems to be a very unsafe environment

Reposting as I forgot to put the link

It appears maybe TB stores a sawed off shot gun under her seat in her car, according to a woman who lives near TB.

“The woman said she also became friendly with Ms Bromley until she was once in the car with her and allegedly 'reached under the seat and pulled out a [sawn off] shot gun' which had been stored there.

'She just laughed and said ''don't worry about it babe it's for self-protection''. I didn't talk to her much after that. It was a few months ago.'”

OK
This is what I found in MSM:

1.

"Pheobe
was last seen at Airport Drive with her luggage
on the morning of May 15,

but never made it into Bundaberg Airport, where she was booked to catch a flight to Western Australia."

Seen by whom?

2.

"She didn't check in for her flight to visit her boyfriend
who she spoke to on the phone at 8.30am'.
they (family) said."

No alleged phone call, they seem sure.

3.

"An update from police on Friday said they would continue to search the wider Gin Gin and Bundaberg areas,
and 'no one is in custody
in relation to this investigation'."

this is confusing.

Has an actual audio phone call at 8.30 between PB and BF being confirmed.

Or was it a text at 830 to BF. Which does not mean it was sent by PB.
The phone allegedly pinged near the airport.

That dose not mean PB.

If she was at the airport there would be footage.

With this statement in mind, I am amazed that no one has been named as POI…..

“Today police appealed for members of the public who may have seen a grey Hyundai ix35 in the Good Scrub National Park, on May 15 to come forward.”

Another relative said that Pheobe had spoken to her boyfriend on the phone just before she disappeared.

'She didn't check in for her flight to visit her boyfriend who she spoke to on the phone at 8.30am,' they said.

The source here is a relative, so not an official confirmation.

If the source is a relative/relatives
I guess
they have this info from the bf himself.

Exactly.

When the boyfriend was interviewed, he hasn’t actually confirmed that Pheobe did ring him, he has only stated how upset he is.

“Pheobe's boyfriend told 9News yesterday that he was devastated and couldn't believe the situation was real but was holding up okay.”

Does it mean the family lied about the phone call?
Why would her relatives do this?
What would be the purpose? 🤔

I bet
they talked with bf when the girl was missing.
And they probably got this info from him.

Besides,
It is easy peasy to check it.

And as I see it,
Police are tight lipped
but...
family not so.

And sometimes "another relative" can get information mixed up. imo

We don't even know who the "another relative" is, other than it seemingly was not Pheobe's mother.

There is a substantial time difference between Qld and WA. 8:30am in Qld is currently 6:30am in WA. 8:30am in WA is 10:30am in Qld.

imo

Well it makes me think of other cases like Gerard Baden-Clay. From his first interaction with police while reporting her missing on April 20th, 2012, police were already highly suspicious of him - the scratches on his right cheek, his immediate engagement of a criminal defense lawyer on the same morning, and other unusual behaviour set off red flags for the police. He did a television plea on the same day. They focused their investigation on him early on.

On May 1st, police announced they were treating Allison's death as a homicide, and they indicated they were closely examining those closest to her, pointing to Gerard without formally naming him.

It wasn’t until his arrest on June 13th, 2012, that police publicly confirmed him as the prime suspect, charged with murder and interfering with a corpse.

They keep their cards close to their chests for legal and strategic reasons, such as gathering sufficient evidence, encouraging cooperation, etc.

Does it mean
they are oblivious of the time difference???

In their own country???
Phew!

No. I just have never read whether the 8:30 is Qld time or WA time. Only our assumptions that it is Qld time.

What if it wasn't a phone call but they "talked" through a messenger chat forum, or similar?

The quote is:

"...'who she spoke to on the phone at 8.30am'."

I notice how they are allowing the media to be in a position to take photos of (some of) the forensic search in the bushland. I feel that is likely done to put some pressure on a potential perp(s). It is not to inform the public of the intricacies of what they are doing. imo

I was wondering that myself. All the Gen Z-ers I know would never make a phone call, strongly preferring texts/apps
