Hmmm. I guess the obvious answer is it benefits the person who could most be harmed by transparency.
I think it is fair to assume family had keys then, zwiebel, using your logic.
Maybe AH did take his set, if he had a set, and entered Bob's house to look for him. I only mention him because he is close in proximity to Bob's house....it seems logical that he would be first on call if no one could get Bob on the phone. It would be so easy for him, or for his wife, to have checked.
Yes, and that same logic would take me to...the nearest family members would have keys. Unless Bob had fallen out/fought with them.
And almost certainly JeM, the handyman. So much running in and out with chores, fetching building materials left outside. And after all, if you are trusting someone to work within your house for long periods, why would you not trust them with your keys? A family member had keys.....trust me.

I just talked to Fontelle on the phone. She is holding up considering the circumstances. She is still living in Bob's house as is her right. She and Bob's daughters are still at war. They want her out and she wants her rights as a widow. Also, there is a lot of suspicion about the case. No proof, but the daughters have apparently been uncooperative. There could be several reasons for this. They may just be tired and want to get on with their lives. Or, something worse. Some took lie detector tests, some did not. They are trying to settle his estate and trusts. Hopefully, all of this can go to court and decisions can be made. Until then, no one will be at peace.
I would love to know who refused a lie detector test. Also would love to know the results of those that took them.

Ummmm, well, if I hadn't taken one, I would have wanted him to shut up right then.
As I suspected this is her version. To my knowledge his version has never been disclosed by LE, so once again we are suppose to go on the documents of one side.
I want to see the reports from BOTH sides.
IIRC it was the next day that Paul received the private message from one of Mr. Harrod's daughters.
I suspect there is very little you'll hear or see from persons who refuse to cooperate with LE. It's been 3 plus years. If the last person to see Bob alive had no involvement, why would he still not clear up information that has him front and center? If he had no involvement, he would not leave such basic info unresolved. Unless, of course, he's sadistic and enjoys the torture he's putting his family through.
The pending Disappeared show airing seems to have some feathers ruffled. I'm really looking forward to the episode.
I'm still wondering if Home Depot now offers lunch.
BBM. You're not alone with that thought. IMO, there has been quite an effort all along to drive those away who seek answers into Mr. Harrod's disappearance. PE is not the only person who has been pushed away from seeking answers or been threatened for seeking answers.
I am just having so much trouble working out how JeM organizes his thinking.
In between shopping trips, he notices a car being driven suspiciously near the home, very similar/identical to the vehicle owned by a person the whole family regards as deeply suspect.
On returning from his last shopping trip and finding the CL locked out and Bob missing, JeM ignores that issue, expresses no concern to the CL, gets a real focus on his work that seems to have been absent before, then goes home..........?
Picture for a minute someone like, say, GrainneDhu in the same situation. House search, street search, neighbour enquiries, discussion with the cleaner about suspect car - all that would have gone on just while they waited for LE to arrive!*
I know there's a middle ground here - the CL was deeply concerned yet didn't call LE, but JeM was family and he was the one who'd seen the suspicious car. And just what was it that made the CL so afraid when she entered the house with JeM? Bearing in mind Bob's age, wouldn't you have thought her first thoughts would have been that Bob had fallen and hurt himself? The transcript of the Disappeared clip really gives the impression she was gripped by an overwhelming (and unreasonable?) fear the moment she stepped through the door with JeM.
I do not like the idea of taking money from an elderly person in exchange for friendship. So, I don't approve of the BL. PE's opinion about her makes me like her even less. But, I respect the fact Bob was in possession of all his faculties and was free to give his money to whoever he pleased. I do not respect the BL for taking it. Actually, it makes me a little sick.
