The Disappeared schedule I'm linked to in my sig says the show airs at 8pm and 11pm now. Did it say that yesterday, or has it changed because I took my eyes off it for a minute?

I'll have to change my signature again now.

About ID TV's 'Disappeared'.
'A riveting and compelling series, Disappeared serves as an outlet for the loved ones of missing persons to profile their stories.....
http://press.discovery.com/us/id/programs/disappeared/

Well, yes it does. As long as those loved ones participate of course. Which begs the question; why did son-in-law JeM (last known person to have seen Bob), his wife JuM, ('Our Father means the world to us'), and their son, AH, (walked away from $100s of thousands of loans) all decline to participate in Long Lost Love?

Easter Sunday here now. I'll be thinking thinking of Bob and Mrs Harrod when the church bells peal. I hope she is able to have some loving, laughing grandchildren around her this weekend.

Happy Easter, z. :blowkiss:

I'm so excited about Bob's episode finally hitting the airwaves. Why did they change the time??? I have to change my siggie again. Rats!!! And today I posted all Bob's information on another case at WS. Now the info is wrong. Darn!!!!

Okay, Mr Z wouldn't let me put the disappeared episode announcement on the home page of Bob's site in 5 inch letters, but it has a nice box, with links. And as I think I waited long enough for the definitive time Bob Harrod went missing to be announced, I've made a new timeline too, using what we've got.

If Disappeared shifts again, it's going to cause chaos in the zwiebel household.....

I've just been saved from linking a 'really interesting' story elsewhere on WS by Mr Z. Who pointed out:
1) The date is April 1st
2) The letters of the author's name, rearranged, spelt April Fools'
3) The story itself was highly unlikely, if not downright impossible.

They get me everytime, they really do. The only time I've ever spotted a hoax was when I found a family member licking a newspaper one April 1st. Even I questioned the hygiene implications of news articles with lickable flavours.

If anyone needs to print or download or share Bob's missing person flyer, the link is now in my sig.

I wish it was 3 more days until jury selection, but in due time. In due time. :jail:

I am really hoping the show will gather a lot of new interest in Bob's case. Too many times in the past, it seems that missing seniors have been passed over as being not 'catchy' enough or 'worthwhile' enough for media coverage.

But the changing demographics of most Western Societies is having an impact, I believe. There are a LOT of seniors out there, and their numbers are increasing everyday. They buy and read newspapers, watch TV and generally have more money than young people to spend on products they see advertised in the media.

Ignoring their needs and interests in the media doesn't make a jot of sense, if you ask me.

I have no idea what ID is doing with their Disappeared series. Last night they aired a new episode, one that had not previously been aired and next Thursday, they are airing 3 new episodes of Disappeared.

Thursday

5 pm New "Long Lost Love"
6 pm New "Birds of Prey"
7 pm New "At the Crossroads"

Last night was "Final Season"

It's like they have all these new episodes and are just dumping them all at one time. Why they quit airing them to begin with on Monday's, when they were showing reruns and stuff, only to bring them back and air them all within the same week is a mystery to me. JMO.

Seajay, can you link where you are finding the 5pm airing, pretty please? I'd like to know, even though it's all a bit late for me now, as I've sent out too much stuff to change anything!

I have a theory and a few links, about what ID may be doing......but I think it is probably best for me to wait until after Bob's episode, to air my views.

I guess....as long as it airs once, somewhere in the US, I'll be happy. If it airs in England and even Germany too, I'll be over the moon!

ETA: Isn't 'Final Season' the name of an episode?

Ok, just so I understand correctly...

The airings for Thursday April 4th for Bob's episode is as follows:

Pacific time: 5:00 pm and again at 8:00 pm
Mountain time: 6:00 pm amd again at 9:00 pm
Central time: 7:00 pm and again at 10:00 pm
Eastern time: 8:00 pm and again at 11:00 pm

Did I get it right, lol? I think I am a bit over neurotic about making sure everyone knows exactly what time the show is to air in their area.

Yes, final season is the name of an episode. The MP was out watching NBA playoff's when she disappeared.

Yes, it's my understanding that's the times. Weird but am I wrong or are these episodes based on their time going to be airing as EXACTLY the same time throughout the United States?

I'm on the West Coast and it will air at 5 pm for me, the East Coast is 3 hours ahead of me and it will air at 8 pm, which will be the same time it will air for me.

Hmmm. Wonder why.
