OMG. This 'Disappeared' timeline is getting to sound like another timeline I can think of.....

  • #502
Yes, it's my understanding that's the times. Weird but am I wrong or are these episodes based on their time going to be airing as EXACTLY the same time throughout the United States?

I'm on the West Coast and it will air at 5 pm for me, the East Coast is 3 hours ahead of me and it will air at 8 pm, which will be the same time it will air for me.

Hmmm. Wonder why.

Ok when it airs at 5pm for you it will be 8pm on the east coast. When it airs at 8pm for you it will be 11pm on the east coast.

Mel (who is far more familiar with time zones than she'd *ever* thought she'd be.)

In Germany our clocks went forward an hour on Sunday. So I'm struggling just to keep my times straight here. I'm gonna stick with my 'please check your local schedule', I think!

Yes, I know. That's what is weird. I'm getting it 5 pm PDT on Thursday. At the time I will be getting it, the East Coast will be getting it at 8 pm EDT.
Which will be not clockwise time at the same time but we will be actually watching it simultaneously.

I think we have our "times" mixed up. I was say that hen it's 5 pm PT Disappeared will be on here,, it will be 6 pm MT and Disappeared will be on and 7 pm CT and Disappeared will be on and 8 pm ET Disappeared will be on.

Meaning we will all be seeing it together, regardless of where we are on the U.S., based on the air times.

I don't know if I'm making myself clear.

Am I allowed to quote that;
'Confused? You will be........'
quote from that old US series called Soap, that was incredibly popular in England as well, a long time ago?

Ok, just so I understand correctly...

The airings for Thursday April 4th for Bob's episode is as follows:

Pacific time: 5:00 pm and again at 8:00 pm
Mountain time: 6:00 pm amd again at 9:00 pm
Central time: 7:00 pm and again at 10:00 pm
Eastern time: 8:00 pm and again at 11:00 pm

Did I get it right, lol? I think I am a bit over neurotic about making sure everyone knows exactly what time the show is to air in their area.

This sort of programming is not atypical. Essentially it means that, for example:

I can watch the earlier airing at 5pm Pacific while at the very same time my friend in NYC can watch the earlier airing for her zone at 8pm Eastern. We can do the same thing again at 8 pm Pacific/11pm Eastern for the later (2nd) airing. Neither one of us gets to see the program first.

With reference to other posts concerning Timelines, it is not unusual for LE not to release a TL in an ongoing investigation. If you cobble one together from various media reports, you will need frequent revisions, such as what has been done here and may be needed after the narration of the upcoming "Disappeared" omits the earlier preview information stating that Agnes arrived at noon. Personally, I would not have ever depended on that info being accurate, but to each hir own. ;->

I'm in Southern/Central California and it's the same for me: 5pm and again at 8pm. I pray it helps bring more attention to Bob.

It looks like my airing dates are wrong again. I've amalgamated two times zones. :(

As for the timeline the day Bob disappeared, the moment I find that direct quote from son-in-law about the time Bob disappeared, I'll happily put all previous timelines in the trash. Because he must have spoken out for Bob at some time, musn't he? As the best placed person to do that (last known person to have seen Bob), why wouldn't he?

ETA: Fixed. I'm covering all the bases now.

Ive been trying to follow and keep up on this thread with not much time or luck. Anyway I'm glad that you will all get to see Bobs disappeared episode soon.

Thank you EdinburghLass - I'll never forget when those posts popped up saying the show had aired in Australia!

Did you ever happen to notice if Final Season, Birds of Prey or At the Crossroads aired too? I'd love to know if Bob's show was just a 'one off' airing or if all the remaining episodes from season five aired in Australia too.

Two teenager hikers have been lost in Trabuca Canyon since Sunday night. They were only about a mile from their vehicle when they called emergency services, but they haven't been located yet. California sounds like a very difficult place to search for missing people, it really does. :(

ETA: I so wish they had stayed with their vehicle. My family in Australia said that's the advice always given to anyone who ever finds themselves lost in the outback.

What I heard on the news was that they were hiking in a very well marked trail area, but somehow while hiking they got lost. They called 911 on their cell phones but they died. (Isn't that always the way, what is it with cell phones dying whne they are needed most?) I haven't watched the news today to find out if they'd been located. At the time of the 911 call, they said they thought they were about a mile from their car but they didn't know in which direction it was.

ETA: They have no been found yet, but they could still be alive, the temps dip down into the 50's but it's still survivable, according to news accounts.

Yep - I saw the Shannan Gilbert and Zebb Quinn episodes. Do you know who Final Season was about? We seem to have reverted now to old episodes - Mitrice Richardson, Maura Murray etc. I did think it was weird because for a few weeks now, the TV guide synopsis has been saying that all Disappeared episodes are about Tracy Ocasio which hasn't been the case yet.

I hope the teenagers are found soon. They're young and healthy and it sounds like the whole community has come together to find them.

This is one of the things that saddens me about Bob's case; his community don't seem to have been given the opportunity to turn out for Bob - either in a search or for events to keep his name in the headlights. I bet they would have done if they'd been asked.

Fontellle may have struggled, being a new arrival to California and being legally blind and without computer skills, but Bob's daughters were ideally placed. They had lived in the area their entire lives and would surely have had a network of friends and contacts they could have called upon for help, and still could. It's difficult to think of good reasons why they have allowed their father's case to become forgotten locally. I suspect many locals probably believe Bob's case was resolved long ago.

With law enforcement still appealing for information, I'm sure detectives would welcome any help they could get from Bob's adult children in bringing Bob's case to the public's attention. 'Disappeared' was filmed what, nearly a year and a half ago, but nothing seems to have been done for Bob since then. I don't think Bob's children had any public events to mark his birthday or the day he went missing, did they?

Such wasted opportunities to help bring Bob home.

The 'Final Season' episode is the one about Tracy Ocasio. She disappeared after leaving a restaurant she had gone to, to watch a baseball game. I hope that episode does get to air over your way. Her family are desperate to find her and I bet they are so grateful for this chance to highlight her case. They already have a website for her.

Thanks - I've been following Tracy's case for awhile too and was looking forward to her episode. Hopefully we will get it soon.

It looks like At the Crossroads is coming up this week and then the Lauria Bible/Ashley Freeman episode.

Just bumping your question Angelo, because I'd like to know the answer to that one too! *It sounds as if Disappeared has been giving sneak previews??
