Respectfully snipped

Fear not, MaryNo! My husband and daughter both watched with me, and neither of them knew a thing about the case before the show aired. Let's just say their impressions of Bob's family were not favorable.

You got to watch TV tonight! So glad.

:thud:

What you said. :blushing:

It's odd the things you pick up working a sunday job haha!

Is there a definite on whether he did/didn't have dementia at this point? I couldn't watch the program, being from the UK, although I expect it will be hitting the internet soon enough.

Bonsoir, Frenchbeaux! And I've been up all night so I've forgotten the French for welcome...bienvue?

Anyway, thanks so much for dropping into Bob's thread.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I haven't frequented WS much since Mickey Schunick's case, mainly because it is hard to follow cases that had been going on for some time, but Bob got me and I plan to start reviewing all the details!

I think it's bienvenue, but I'm from Louisiana so I'm only part French and would know more Cajun-French than the real deal. So whatever you say sounds good to me!

Legally blind, really? Or do you mean his driver's license specifies he must drive with glasses on?

I doubt the CA DMV would permit anyone declared legally blind to drive at all.

~jmo~

I agree. Legally blind would entail NOT being able to drive.

I believe the call was around 10am. I have wondered if that may have been Agnes asking if she could come that day, (Monday) instead of her usual Tuesday.

I wonder who that caller was? I question whether it was Agnes because Agnes stated that Bob told her that, Jeff is coming and that he was going to do some things around the house. That leads me to think that Jeff had yet to arrive when Agnes talked to Bob. I've read that Jeff supposedly showed up at 9:30 and if the phone call was at 10:00... who was it? Or did Jeff not show up when reported?

Thank you!

Welcome to the case! Before that forum went down for good, some sharp people here had the brilliant idea of saving the daughter's posts. I think you'll enjoy reading some of them. They're eye opening ...

I hope you'll read some of the threads, and get a good feel for everything that's gone on. The more, the merrier working on this case! There are people with a ton of talent that have really moved things along here! Their skills are amazing!

Despicable, is just being kind :twocents:
Way to go for being a rebel on that forum! If it makes you feel any better, I just heard of Bobs case through ID and saw right through that bunch. Despicable is right!

Didnt. LE indicated the Dr confirmed for them that Bob's faculties were fine. In fact, one of the daughters who appeared on the show testified 6 weeks after this show filmed that her father was of sound mind and sharp the last time she saw him before he disappeared.

So, after tonight's "Disappeared" episode, has any one of you changed an opinion about who is responsible for Mr Harrod's disappearance and likely demise? Or is this case solved, and we are just waiting for LE to arrest someone/s? And if so, who?

I am uncertain where the figures have been comming from with respect to the grandson.

It seems these figures have grown legs over the past months.

AH never used as I have shown in previous posts, that he ever used the total amount that BOTH his grandparents agreed to.

The numbers are quite explicit in the depo.

As well, he returned the home to the trust, so I am uncertain where individuals are comming up with the grandson have this vast amount of money given to him.

Ah was repaying that loan back at approximately $3,000.00 / month.

He stopped when his grandfather disappeared and Fontelle chose to contest the trust.

I thought this has been gone over.

Yes! I was sneaky. I told them I wanted them to watch with me so that I could get their thoughts. and I knew it was the only way I could watch it in peace

Random thought from the show. Bob told Fontelle that the meeting got ugly because he said he was adding her to the accounts. PB said that they did not discuss Fontelle at the family meeting and that Bob did not discuss personal matters with anyone. RB said that a few days later, they realized that Fontelle was not added to any of Bob's accounts, so they went to an attorney to free up money for her. How then, did they "realize" it, if it was never discussed and Bob didn't tell anyone his business?

I found the Dr. issue to be quite interesting.

The only way that a GP could possibly make any kind of diagnosis would be if the patient was being seen on a regular basis.

BH has just started to see his Dr. again, and I understand tests had been ordered.

I must ask what the GP saw that he felt required tests over.

As well, his weight had dropped to 140 lbs. This is not healthy.

I am waiting for Mr Harrod to be found and returned. If that solves the case, great. For me, the only thing that counts is that he is brought home and his dignity returned to him.

Like many posters, I am also suspicious of the daughters and son-in-law. One additional thought I had while watching concerned Bob's reaction at his first wife's funeral (I may have read about this on another site) as well as the ash scattering (based on the photo with Josie). I would bet that none of the daughters were happy that Bob was so flirtatious with the hairdresser. (I know that my dad was like this after my mom died, and I was thoroughly disgusted. I felt as though he was disgracing my mother. He doesn't have a dime to his name, and I was livid.) Couple that with the idea that Bob got married a year later, I bet they were fuming.

Perhaps the timing couldn't be more perfect than for Bob to disappear right before Fontelle arrived back in California. After all, eliminating Bob would be much easier if Fontelle was absent. I think emotions were running high after the family meeting, and if indeed Bob was going to add Fontelle's name to financial documents, ...

Questions: Which daughter has the son who borrowed from the trust? I missed that along the way.

Somewhere I read that Bob and his first wife encouraged their daughters to find employment after high school because they couldn't pay for college. Yet, now there is all this money. Did Bob and his wife just save up that much or did they come into some money? I ask because I got the impression that he and his first wife drew up the trust and that the money was the first wife's money. If that were the case, the daughter's might feel more entitled to it, thus fanning the flames of how the money is allocated.

I plan on catching up! In between two jobs and sick mother, but I will! That's the least I can do after some of WS' most talented sleuthed tirelessly and commitedly to bring Mickey home! Their support of our hometown sweetheart warmed my soul more than I could have ever hoped for!

Interesting question shana.

Especially considering who has received that majority of the money from said trust to date.

That of course would be Fontelle.

I will again be curious as to neighbours, and any other individuals that include family or others she has become friends with :).

For me, the word "around" is key here....jmo.

Sorry, I may have paraphrased that word in...when cloud said "in the house" in his/her statement written from the show.

quoting from cloud:

Agnes: And he said that will be fine, I will be here, and Jeff is coming and he’s gonna to take care of a couple of things in the house before Fontelle comes.

So am i ::).

I wonder if any SW's were obtained with respect to the neighbours?

Friends?

I would LOVE to see the SW's :).

Gone over too many times! See a link in a recent post of mine referencing an earlier post...not yet addressed here...as if not even read at all.

Someone on this thread has R.E. experience, yes? Or knows about how loans work, yes? Or is proficient in mathematics, maybe?

It really isn't all that difficult to figure-out, even if you are none of the above.
