Additionally, someone upthread brought up the possibility it was Mrs. Harrod who Bob spoke to at 10:00 am. I looked but couldn't find the post, so I apologize for not recognizing the poster who originally brought up that possibility.

The more I think about it, the more I agree it was probably Mrs. Harrod who spoke with Bob at 10:00 am and here's why. The housekeeper was aware Jeff was going to be at the house, but Jeff was unaware of the housekeeper expected to be by. That leads me to believe the housekeepers call to Bob occured prior to Mrs. Harrods call and that Jeff arrived sometime after Mrs. Harrod's call and something happened quickly before Bob had a chance to tell Jeff the housekeeper was expected....

No where has it ever been mentioned, that I have seen, whether or not Mrs. Harrod last spoke with Bob Sunday evening, or Monday morning.

If Bob and Fontelle did speak Monday morning, whether or not Bob told her the housekeeper was coming early could help with the timeline. Perhaps it has, and that is something LE has chosen not to share because it will be a big part of the evidence they would put on at trial.

IDK if Bob fell in the bathroom. I do think it is possible he attempted to take refuge from his attacker in the bathroom. I suspect some of the home repairs were due to an attack which occured in Bob's home.

As for how he was transported, I've considered the possibility of rubber or plastic bed/floor liners in JeM's car that were disposed of with Bob. JeM and/or AH renting a vehicle and transporting Bob in a rented vehicle. Whether that be a truck or van from HD, or vehicle from a car rental agency such as Enterprise.....

As for the little we know, what the daughters try to conceal or will not reveal stands out tremendously, imo. Look there. Things are 'hidden' for a reason.

Georgia, Bob's first wife, was very ill and severely incapacitated for a long while, wasn't she? I would have thought there might have been several waterproof or rubber sheets in Bob's home from that time.

In regard to the suggestion about a 1.30pm leaving time for Jem, this is what this July 30th, 2009 article said.

"His receipt shows he paid for his items after 3pm," Loomis said. "He thinks he was at Home Depot for 45 minutes to an hour, so given 45 minutes or so of driving time, you're looking at 1.30."

There is also the article where Loomis mentions surveillance tape will be checked to see if JeM was alone when he visited the store or if Bob was with him. I wonder if that was because the forensics on the car had given some indication that Bob had recently travelled in it?

I've got no idea if it is possible to tell the age of fingerprints, dna or other such forensics though. Does anyone think there would be a difference between a fresh fingerprint and an old one?

I think the housekeeper said she worked in the house about three hours. That would make her leaving time around 3pm if she started at 12noon, and 6pm if she started at 3pm..........only the 6pm leaving time would fit in with JeM leaving just ahead of her. 3pm, and JeM would still have been in Home Depot, getting that 3.04pm receipt.

Nothing about the timeline makes sense. Nothing.

Was the hardware store that's a seven minute drive away not a Home Depot? I can't see why JeM would have driven to one that was a 45 minute drive otherwise.

I think any mattress pad would do. Good one's are water proof and are not limited to beds for the very ill.

It is a Home Depot. Fullerton. E. Chapman Ave, 2.7 miles from Bob's home and a 9 minute drive, with traffic.

But JeM went to one a 45 minute drive away???

Not a shred of sense to be found anywhere in that timeline, I swear.

Yes, but I'm sure I've seen in a couple of places he's reported to have left 'just' before her.

Your theory does make sense though (at last! Some sense in the timeline!)

Oh, don't ask me! I'm just going by google times. I think locals have said the traffic can be quite bad, especially on the highways. On the map, it really doesn't look that far away, but no idea what traffic would be like on a Monday, with schools on summer break.

No, hang on. It's 2.7 miles. California traffic can't be that bad, surely? I could walk that distance in 45 minutes.

If the housekeeper actually did her cleaning between 12:45 and 3:45, give 15-20 minutes for the discussion on if she was supposed to be there and requesting Jeff search the house before she started, I think it's possible she finished up and left Bob's home between 3:30 and 4:00, thus likely being there for return JeM's arrival from his afternoon HD trip (with the 3:04pm receipt).

So the driving time sounds right. The shopping time doesn't. Are Home Depot really slow with service or something? An hour is a pretty long time, unless you are ordering a new kitchen or bathroom suite or something like that.

Okay, so lets say CL 12-3. JeM leaves at 2 pm, drives 10 min to HD. Shops HD from 2:10 to 3, buys stuff, comes back at 3:10. That sounds reasonable.

But here is my frustration. This shouldn't be an issue! Just look at the gosh darn security tapes at see what time the guy walked in!!!! (please tell me LE has done this. Please.) CL is a credible witness and my guess is she can narrow down what time he left to within a 15 min window.

This whole thing would make much more sense to me if Bob had disappeared the night before.

I still don't see why it was ever produced/put forward as an alibi. If the housekeeper was in the house then, and said Bob had already disappeared....I mean, JeM didn't tell LE Bob was still in the house when he left, did he?

Home Depot's are huge. Some things are kept in stock, some need to be ordered. If JeM is responsible for Bob's disappearance, I can easily see him walking around the HD for 45 minutes deciding how he was going to handle the unexpected arrival of the CL and releasing some nervous energy while walking around and going over in his mind how he was going to handle this.
