Harrod was last seen by his son-in-law, Jeff Michaels, around 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Harrod, a former contract manager, sent Michaels to Home Depot, but when Michaels returned, Harrod was no longer in the house, said Loomis.

"His receipt showed that he paid for his items after 3 p.m.," Loomis said. "He thinks he was at Home Depot for 45 minutes to an hour, so given 15 minutes or so of driving time, you're looking at 1:30."

Later the timeline changes to JeM leaving for the Home Depot between 2:30 and 2:40.

"Loomis said police will start looking today at surveillance tapes "to see if people close to him were where they said they were."

I wonder what the surveillance tapes showed. I bet it was a quick "in and out" at the Home Depot.

In one of JuM’s 90 posts last Sunday on her community forum, she said, “it takes nothing to get a news crew to show up these days”

Yesterday, the day before the 3 year anniversary of her father missing, she posted that JeM was in their newly renovated basement she calls the “man cave” fiddling around with something, that she did nothing with the exception of some laundry and watched a movie. And that she might be at a community ball game this evening.

She posted previously the man cave “has been my hubby's dream and it is happening.” What about her father’s dream?

1st day of the rest of my life

Dearest Fauntel:

Your call was an answer to my prayer. I have been thinking of you everyday lately & many times over the years and regretting leaving you under the conditions at the time.

[snipped]

So many times I wondered where you were, how you were, but it's so hard to locate someone and . . . if I did find you, could we get together? Or would it end in disappointment for one reason or another?

[snipped]

I always wondered how to get in touch with you because you were my first love and always will be, nothing can change that. This last year has been very difficult for me, you will never know how many times I have thought of you.

[snipped]

You have already given an old man hope for the future.

Thinking of Bob and Fontelle today...

"As a Mother's Day present, Fontelle's children bought her a plane ticket to Placentia.

She arrived on June 23 and both said the spark felt six decades ago was still there.

"She was considerably older, but still beautiful when she talked. I knew it -- I knew it was her. I could just tell by her voice," Bob told KTLA in an earlier interview, describing their reunion. "I just wanted to hold her forever," he added.

When Bob asked what it would take to keep her, Fontelle replied, "Marriage!" So, Bob said, he asked her to marry her on the spot.

The couple wed on June 29.

Bob said Fontelle was always the one that got away, and that he considered himself lucky to have gotten a second chance with his one true love."

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. Black fish, blue fish, old fish, new fish. This one has a little star. This one has a little car. Say! What a lot of fish there are. Yes. Some are red. And some are blue. Some are old. And some are new. Some are sad. And some are glad. And some are very, very bad. Why are they sad and glad and bad? I do not know. Go ask your dad. Some are thin. And some are fat. The fat one has a yellow hat. From there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere. Here are some who like to run. They run for fun in the hot, hot sun. Oh me! Oh my! Oh me! Oh my! What a lot of funny things go by. Some have two feet and some have four. Some have six feet and some have more. Where do they come from? I can’t say. But I bet that have come a long, long way. Say! Look at his fingers! One, two, three… How many fingers do I see? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. He has eleven! Eleven! This is something new. I wish I had eleven, too! Bump! Bump! Bump! Did you ever ride a Wump? We have a Wump with just one hump. But we know a man called Mr. Gump. Mr. Gump has a seven hump Wump. So…if you like to go Bump! Bump! just jump on the hump of the Whump of Gump.Who am I? My name is Ned. I do not like my little bed. This is no good. This is not right. My feet stick out of bed all night. And when I pull them in, Oh dear! My head sticks out of bed up here! We like our bike. It is made for three. Our Mike sits up in back, you see. We like our Mike and this is why: Mike does all the work when the hills get high. Hello there, Ned. How do you do? Tell me, tell me what is new? How are things in your little bed? What is new? Please tell me, Ned. I do not like this bed at all. A lot of things have come to call. A cow, a dog, a cat, a mouse. Oh! What a bed! Oh! What a house! Oh, dear! Oh, dear! I can not hear. Will you please come over near? Will you please look in my ear? There must be something there, I fear. Say, look! A bird was in your ear. But he is out. So have no fear. Again your ear can hear, my dear. My hat is old. My teeth are gold. I have a bird I like to hold. My shoe is off. My foot is cold. My shoe is off. My foot is cold. I have a bird I like to hold. My hat is old. My teeth are gold. And now my story is all told. We took a look. We saw a Nook. On his head he had a hook. On his hook he had a book. On his book

July 28, 2009 – In an interview the day after Mr. Harrod disappeared JeM's wife says this.

Reporter: “Julie says her husband was with her dad, at his home yesterday. He went to the hardware store alone. When he came back…”
Julie: “My dad was gone.”
Reporter: “What time?”
Julie: “We’re thinking maybe 1, noon?”

That interview, and that statement (we're thinking maybe one, noon?) was the scale-tipper for me.

Who exactly was trying to remember what happened and when to whom?

Every time I read this letter from Bob it touches my heart. If only he could have continued with that hope for the future without some selfish :censored: who snuffed out and stole those hopes and dreams. Someone who decided to take it upon themselves to play God.....

Daughter JuM should know our dream is to see justice for her father. Even if that means her husband and son spend the rest of their lives in prison. Where was the grandson the day Mr. Harrod disappeared? We know two men related to the Harrod daughters were in his home the day Mr. Harrod disappeared.

Still praying for the truth and justice for Mr. Harrod, today, on this 3rd anniversary of his disappearance.
Certain that justice will come for Mr. Harrod.

Can it really have been three years, and nobody has had the conscience to step forward and do the right thing? Every day of silence is another betrayal of Bob, of Georgia, of all that you would claim to stand for, and of everything you would want others to think about you. There's no mystery here, and you could set things right.

Three years. Bob needs to be at peace.

Lets see, in the early morning hours on this day 3 years earlier, Fontelle called in the Missing Person's report rather than Bob's children or grandchild...the ones who were actually on the ground out there. Then JuM rushed down the hill to change sheets, and give that interview. Refresh me guys-was this one of the first interviews that raised the bogus claim of dementia? The one that Bob's physician completely debunked? At some point, JeM made a statement about a non existent black SUV driving down the wrong side of the street and parking for 10 minutes. And after this day, JeM didnt set foot inside of the house again. He left his wife and her sisters to deal with this suspicious disappearance on their own.

I wonder when he made his statement and how quickly PPD started wondering about this scenario? We know from Andrew's words to the officer responding to the well being check that he had already dropped the bomb about the family fighting the day before Bob's disappearance.

How frightened Fontelle must have been. :(

One of the nice aspects to having national media such as Disappeared validate and produce the story is that other shows of this nature begin to take an interest. Fingers crossed that we see more media in the coming months covering this disappearance and the trust issues and the rest!!!

How does one walk away from 750K and then turn around and pay 719K for a house? I would wonder if the down payment equalled all of those mortgage payments he set aside in his depo but couldnt recall exactly where they were.

Bob is screwed again.

A moment of sarcasm-how do you suppose Andrew will get out of this loan? His track record for payback doesnt seem to be so good. Just an observation.

A real, live bank isn't going to be as sympathetic as his Aunties.

I'd like to know how he obtained a mortgage considering the enormous default on the financing provided by his grandfather. Someone should send the mortgage company the details on the loans he did not pay Bob.

No, they won't. And considering the enormous default on his last mortgage, it's possible if the mortgage company had those details, his loan app and the circumstances which he was able to obtain this loan could be considered fraudulant.

His current mortgage provider should be made aware of his shady financial dealings with his grandfather's money.
